McCain Credits Bush For Drop In Oil Price

Republican John McCain on Wednesday credited the recent $10-a-barrel drop in the price of oil to President George W. Bush's lifting of a presidential ban on offshore drilling, an action he has been advocating.

He also suggested that he would regularly submit himself to questioning before the House speaker and minority leader just as "the British prime minister goes before Parliament and answers some pretty interesting questions." "Why not," asked McCain. "I think it would be fun."

Obama makes oil prices go up and Bush makes them go down. What does McCain do to oil prices and what is he doing to Bush in that picture. Can we impeach Bush now?

Bush took Office and gas cost 1.70 per gallon, now we're at approx 4.70 per gallon, oh yeah, Bush is doing a number with gas prices.

Damn this country is loaded with racist idiots, no wonder we elected crooks like Bush/Chaney.

Racist and ignorant bible thumpers go for anything as long as it's sold as white is right BS.

McCain is so inept that it's funny. Why would he say something as stupid as this, when he has been, and should be, treating Bush like like an unwanted stepchild? Now watch him continue to move away from Bush on bad economic news. He must think (if he can remember) that he can have it both ways.

He must think HIS followers are stupid. Maybe they are.

McCain is just as senile as Reagan was when he ran for president.
Who in their right mind would consider voting for McCain. Oh, I guess the same idiots who voted for Bush.

I'm an Obama supporter, but I think (and have long thought) that we should be drilling the holy hell out of anywhere in the continental U.S./U.S. territories.

But...McCain needs to stop invoking the name "Bush", period, if he knows what's good for him. It's like swimming with an anvil tied to your nuts.

If not for the fact this country is loaded with racist morons, this election wouldn't be close.

You have a super intelligent mixed race young man against an old senile war mongering out of touch white guy. Still the idiots racist types claim "well I don't know much about this guy Obama", while watching old man McCain stumble and bumble throughout an entire campaign.

Truth be told none of us truely know any candidate, however we try exercising sound judgment hoping to elect the person we feel most qualified to do the job.

Most racist know very little about current events, therefore you can only assume that vote as ignorant tribesmen.

Lets hope these imbeciles don't the numbers to f-up another election.

Why don't we try to keep this on an intellectual level, focus on mental stability, education, leadership abilities, anger control, ability to get along with others, the ability to listen, then how the candidate will take those qualities and deal with the economy, war, fuel cost, foreclosures, healthcare, etc.

We may be of different races, but we are all in the same boat, if America fails... your color will not protect you...so let us look out for what is best for America and elect Senator Barack Obama the next President of the United States.
