Police Said Thieves Took Off With $80,000

OAK PARK, Mich. -- Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men they said stole more than $80,000 in jewelry from a store in Oak Park.Police said the two men walked into the store at 21700 Greenfield Road and waited until the clerks were busy with other customers.Police said the men reached around a jewelry case, grabbed the keys, unlocked the case and took a tray of tennis bracelets.
The owner of the store has offered a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the men.
