Blake Lively’s Parents Visit Gossip Girl Set
In the world of film and television, gossip rags and paparazzi often focus on the things that celebs do wrong. Here’s a thought: not all starlets have to be about drama and decadence a la Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. And maybe, dare I say, it all comes down to the parents.
That’s why it’s nice to see Blake Lively’s parents, looking down to earth - and acting their age instead of trying to live vicariously through their children (messaging Dina Lohan!). These two are adorable - mainly cause they look kind of normal. Take off the Boston Red Sox cap (insert boo-ing here) and that could be my dad.
It’s nice to see Blake’s parents checking in on her on the set of Gossip Girl, and not watching her dance on tables as Kathy Hilton did for Paris or taking her clubbing as Michael Lohan did for Lindsay…
And yes, I know they’re both actors, too, but they just seem like good people.
