Pictures of Glyde 2 has been leaked by a member of Howard Forums. Also called as U960, the phone is considerably bigger than the first Glyde but adds a nice large touchscreen, TouchWiz UI and a four-row keyboard. Though the exact features are not known, we can take some cues from the original Glyde. The new phone can be expected to carry a larger camera, presumably 3.2MP with autofocus and flash, 3G, A-GPS, microSD card slot, music player etc.

Similar to an Apple or Nokia Store, Samsung has set up an IT Brand Shop that will showcase its complete IT line of products ranging from netbooks, phones, music players to digital cameras and camcorders. The first IT Brand Shop has been opened at Arihant Arcade, Ameerpet in Hyderabad and will find its way to other cities soon.

The shop has an area called as Experience Zone wherein a user can try out different products before buying.

Samsung TVs however, won’t be displayed at the shops but at the Samsung Digital Plazas that counts over to more than 300 plazas all over India.

Samsung’s initiative to give hands-on experience is not new. Back in April, they had announced Mobile Live campaign that would give hands-on experience to its latest range of phones.

Samsung’s cheapest touchscreen, S5230 has exceeded sales of more than a million units since its launch in April and now Jae Hyun Ryu from Samsung Taiwan expects that it may eventually surpass a whopping 10m figure by the end of this year.
