Titled the Logitech G27, it is thought that the wheel will get a release around the same time as Gran Turismo 5.

According to GTPlanet, the news was leaked by a Codemasters developer who accidentally included the Logitech G27 in a list of compatible peripherals that would support their upcoming game, DiRT 2.

The list has since been removed and the mention of the G27 is nowhere to be seen. If you head to the link above though, you’ll be able to view a variety of screenshots before the info was removed.

Let us know your thoughts on the G27.

As Engadget reports, it was previously thought that Hulu stopped PS3 users due to speculation that Microsoft had something to do with it. But this wasn’t the case as it was revealed that the Skyfire browser on Windows Mobile handsets also got blocked.

But anyway, if you have simple knowledge of homebrew hacks, you’ll be pleased to know that a solution has been found, which will enable users to ‘work around’ the block.

Head to Engadget for the links to the tutorial. Let us know how you get on.

As reported from Clanbase, the mod replaces the background menu music with the infamous Thriller video. There is a video of this in action for you to check out here.

You dont just get Thriller either, as the mod has included other classic tracks such as Smooth Criminal, Beat It, Billie Jean, Bad and Scream.

Have you suffered from the infamous disc read error on your PS3 console? An article we have found has stated that the cause for the error could be Call of Duty: World at War, which was developed by Treyarch.

The news is according to ZKG, who have written a detailed report on how Call of Duty, more specifically, Treyarch’s game is to blame for all these disc read errors.

Midway through their article, they state that they had contact from a former employee from Infinity Ward who had this to say on the issue:

They said that the way that Treyarch’s code is executed and organized causes the disc to spin too fast in the PS3 thus blowing the Blu Ray lens and that is what causes all those disc read errors.

Have you had issues with disc read errors when playing World at War? Read the whole article in the link above and let us know your opinions on it.

Engadget have recently received the Nintendo Wii MotionPlus and a couple of new games to try it out on, the idea of the Wii MotionPlus is to increase the sensitivity of the Wii’s current controller. The Wii MotionPlus is on sale for $19.99.

According to Engadget the fitting of the attachment is extremely self explanatory and could be done without really reading the instructions. One thing they did say is that it wasn’t obvious whether or not the Nintendo Wii had acknowledged whether or not the MotionPlus attachment was present.

Engadget do not seem extremely blown away by the Wii MotionPlus’s performance when playing Grand Slam Tennis, however in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 the MotionPlus is apparently great, this is perhaps why Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is bundled with the MotionPlus.

By this we can assume that if the game spends the time adapting to the MotionPlus results can be substantial, this therefore proves the MotionPlus is a worthwhile investment if you are willing to wait a while for games.

Check out Engadget for a full review, photos and gameplay videos,

Will you buy a Wii MotionPlus?

While this remains just a rumor, it is interesting to add that these are the same two companies that worked on the original PS3 console, so maybe it’s time for Sony to put the rumors to rest for good.

The Telegraph asked why Wild West games have not been exploited as much, and as if by magic, Ubisoft answers them with Call of Juarez Bound in Blood, which is available for the Sony PS3 and the Xbox 360.

The Telegraph has decided to take a closer look at this game, and offer their review. They start by saying that finding a decent Wild West game is a mission in itself, but Call of Juarez Bound in Blood Review is a gem and should keep you going until Red Dead Redemption is released at Christmas.

This new game is a prequel to the first game, Call of Juarez. The new game features a comprehensive class-based multiplayer option, and is more polished than the original. The Telegraph adds that the game is hugely enjoyable, and will satisfy most.

As reported from Siliconera, Sony are planning to ‘emulate’ the Emotion Engine that is required to play all PS2 games. If they manage to do this, it will mean that they will be able to provide backwards compatibility without actually having the correct hardware to do it.

According to the report above, Sony has already acquired the patent which will allow them to start work on this new technology.

When we first heard about Xbox 360’s Project Natal it seemed a little hard to believe, then after watching hands-on reviews and reading about a Natal prototype, things seemed a little more real.

Next we read in detail about Project Natal’s Milo and the voice recognition technology, we could see that the idea was great, but the concept was a long time before production.

On the other hand, PS3’s Motion Sensitive Controller seemed a little more real and looked to reach consumers way before Natal.

So this is why we are surprised to hear that Sony’s PS3 wand motion-sensing technology - expected release date around early 2010 - is not in the hands of THQ developers while Project Natal dev kits are.

The Mirror is reporting that THQ CEO - Brian Farrell - said they have had Project Natal kits for some time. One reason THQ might be missing out on a PS3 wand kit, is the apparent limited supply. Read more on the Mirror and let us know what you think about both technologies.

Remember the big news a few months ago that Modern Warfare 2 would no longer be accompanied by the Call of Duty tag? Well it has been revealed that Activision and Infinity Ward have lost a sizable amount of brand awareness as a result of it.

As this GamaSutra article reports, consumer awareness levels for the upcoming sequel have dropped 20 percent ever since Activision revealed the news that Modern Warfare 2 would be dropping the Call of Duty tag.

Nick Williams from the GamePlan Insights Division for OTX had this to say though on the statistic: “Despite this dramatic drop in awareness, the purchase intent for Modern Warfare 2 remains very strong.’‘

Does this really bother any of you though? We are pretty sure anyone who is an FPS fan knows about Modern Warfare 2’s release, with or without the COD tag. What do you think?
