Combine it with Blu ray player or other HD source and you will be in paradise. I simply like it. Only know that this television, like other high contrast tvs, uses a semi shiny screen which can reflect so be careful of your light sources nearby. It shines something like a standard flat screen tube TV with common glass, but probably a bit less.

In The End the audio is right. I never was a fan of the built in speakers on any television but for those who don’t worry about that the sound is simply adequate. One thing I have discovered though is that the television processes image faster than my own amplifier processes sound. It happens that the television can get before of my surround sound system and the words don’t align. This can be easily fixed by pausing the video and starting it back. It doesn’t happens offten and usually only when I start or when I’m fast forwarding a image.
