In Harbin city, a middle-aged woman was upset over economic issues such as the number of years that she was credited with working, her insurance coverage and so on.

At 9:50am on July 6, she took off her clothes (except for her panties) and climbed up a 30-meter tall smoke stack at number 83, Huaihe Road, Nangang district, Harbin city. The police, the fire department and the media went to the scene.

When the reporter arrived at 10:50am, she was yelling at the people gathered underneath. First, her younger brother got on the fire truck ladder to talk to her. He told her not to do anything stupid. But she was not listening. When the ladder began to edge near her, she screamed: “Don’t you come near! If you come any closer, I will jump!” So the ladder was brought down. Meanwhile the fire fighters set up an air mattress underneath.

After a while, her son was sent up on the ladder, but she also refused to come down. Finally her sister went up with fire fighters. After some more talking, she calmed down. Slowly and steadily, the fire fighters transferred her over to the ladder. By 12:50pm, she was successfully rescued and sent to the Harbin Number One Hospital for examination.

The footage taken by the police car camera two day before she shot Steve McNair and herself dead clearly showed Sahel Kazemi drunken as she failed the balance test. Kazemi not only broke the law but also violated the doctrine of the Baha’i faith she followed, which prohibits the followers from having drinks containing alcohol.

NBC’s journalist Michael Okwu made a blunder when reporting Michael Jackson memorial from Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery for Today Show on Tuesday (July 7) morning. During the live broadcasting, Okwu said if the King of Pop was buried at the cemetery, he would have some “very serious Hollywood company” including actress Betty White (photo below). Host Meredith Vieira promptly corrected what Michael Okwu said by noting him that Betty White is very well and still alive. TMZ pointed out that Okwu probably meant Bette Davis, aka Ruth Elizabeth Davis.

Jordan Crawford dunked LeBron James on Monday. Unfortunately, we, as basketball falls, have no luck to see the videos of LeBron James getting a spectacular dunk from Jordan Crawford! Because the self-proclaimed King of Basketball LeBron felt red-faced after he was two-handed dunked by Jordan, the Xavier University, during a pick-up game of the talented high school basketball players for LeBron James Skills Academy. LeBron James, the self-proclaimed King of basketball, is spending the off-season heading up a basketball training camp known as the LeBron James Skills Academy. The camp, sponsored by NIKE, gives prominent high school hotshots the chance to train with the best, that is, LeBron. However, there looks to be a new challenge to the throne. Apparently, Xavier sophomore Jordan Crawford got the better hand on LeBron during a pick up game and dunked, two-handed and HARD, on the 6-foot-8 NBA superstar. Video rolling, and all.

Want to see the footage? Too bad. Right after the mega-dunk, LeBron called over NIKE’s Basketball Senior Director, Lynn Merritt, to have a few words. Moments later, Merritt approached several cameramen and confiscated their tapes. It appears King James didn’t want the video to leak to the internet.

When Hermione Granger actress were signing autographs for the fans, the wind on the wet weather day blew up Watson’s free-flowing dress with a long slit in the front which caused her nude-skin colored underpants to expose a bit.

At one point, Emma Watson unintentionally opened up the slit and revealed even more of her panties when she was adjusting her soaked dress while talking with an assistant who held the umbrella for the 19-year-old.

Patrick Tracy Burris, 41, has just been identified as Gaffney serial killer. Patrick Tracy Burris, a career criminal, was released on parole two months ago. Patrick Burris was killed during a shootout with the police in Gaston County, North Carolina after he tried to burglarized a home. Burris was alleged of shot dead five people in the town of Gaffney, Cherokee County, South Carolina in June.

Figure skater Nicole Bobek, 31, was charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine in Hudson County, northern New Jersery.  Nicole Bobek was 1995 US figure skating champion and World Figure Skating Championship bronze medalist. She attended 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics.

Nicole Bobek was arrested in Florida one week ago, then extradited to New Jersery and taken in custody at the Hudson County jail. Her name was not revealed until her first court appearance (via video) on Monday morning. Nicole Bobek was accused of playing “a significant role’ in a drug ring previously operating in Hudson County.

Bobek, … who has homes in Manhattan and in Jupiter, Fla., appeared in Central Judicial Processing Court via video link from the Hudson County jail in Kearny. She was arrested in Florida as a fugitive from justice based on the charged filed in Hudson County. Bobek did not fight extradition and was brought to New Jersey on Thursday by officers of the Hudson County Sheriffs office.

Nicole Bobek through her attorney Sam DeLuca pleaded not guilty. Bobek is being held on a $200,000 bail. She faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

Update: Nicole Bobek was released on a bail reduced from $200,000 to $100,000. NJ.com said a state Superior Court judge allowed her to return to her Florida home, but restricted her travel to that state and New Jersey. According to AP, Jana Bobek, Nicole’s mother, did not believe her daughter would do something illegal, but said if she did, it was because of the company she keeps. Jana said her daughter likes to “party” and that she has a good heart.

Jenna Fischer and Lee Kirk began dating since 2008 January. They publicly  stepped out as a couple for the first time at the Emmy Awards in September 2008. At the time, Fischer described Kirk to “my super-cute boyfriend.”

Singer/actress Jennifer Hudson is to perform the public memorial service for Michael Jackson at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Tuesday, July 7. Jennifer Hudson is expected to stage an extreme emotional performance to pay the tribute to the King of Pop as the Dream Girls star herself lost beloved family members including mom, nephew and brother in a homicide in late 2008.

Jennifer Hudson reportedly was pregnant with fiance David Otunga’s child since the end of May. So far, her camp neither confirms nor denied the pregancy rumor. When Jennifer Hudson takes the state tomorrow, it’s sure that the audience will pay extra attention to her to see if she bears a baby bump or not.
