A comic after a month… I had been away on a super secret project but Rakhi’s show inspired me to get back. I could go on and on, but:

1. This is a webcomic because I don’t like to write too much text, and
2. The Great Bong already did a great piece on it.

I would, however love to hear YOUR personal torture tales. Let it all out in the comments…

Now this might seem too petty… but I have a serious problem with my UPS. First, it’s not a totally UNinterrupted power supply. Everytime the mains go off, or there’s a fluctuation it resets the computer! Defeating the reason for it’s existence. So I consulted some “experts” and they said my old fashioned CRT monitor is a power hog and this delicate, tiny, flower like UPS can’t take the load. So I got 2 delicate flower like UPSes.

Now when the power goes off, they reset the computer and monitor separately. Progress!

But that’s not the problem, obviously the problem is when you have two UPSes in your bedroom and (horror of horror!) you forget to turn them off at night.

If any of you work in a UPS company: Seriously guys, What.The.Fuck ? ?

If I had to list a few websites which have really benefited humanity I would say Google, Wikipedia and Snopes. What we need is an Indian edition of Snopes to deal with the regional crap that fills our inbox occasionally.

Fans of the toe nail guy may be sad to see him go. But I had to replace the two dudes because they were low resolution and in black and white. And that did not go well with printing. So we have 2 new dudes, and one of them, while not exactly pulling the toenails is still fiddling with it. Which after all, is the main thing.

The story of the old and new dudes needs telling. I am working on a Fly You Fools blog and soon the story will be told.

Meanwhile, expect a new comic featuring the new dudes tomorrow. If you have something to say in the memory of the toe nail guy, let it all out in the comments.

As the Twitterverse came alive yesterday after the Shoe throwing incident, I got these ideas for comics from @conetrees, @knkartha, and @crucifire. And many many others. Credit goes to them. Other crazy ideas I heard – Laser guided homing shoes, boomerang shoe (comes back after a miss), metal tipped army boots, spikes etc

(Note to self: Stop making any effort at creative thinking. Just trawl The Twiter. That’s right, THE Twitter)

Made a video of how I shot the shoe and a screencast of this comic. Will join the two and upload it in a day of two.

Also I couldn’t help notice it’s been more than a few hours after P.C.’s tryst with the shoe, and no Shoe Throwing Flash Game has emerged on the internet. Proud of Indians!

If you are still not addicted to Twitter, then this comic means nothing to you.

Being addicted to Twitter means compulsively checking your Tweetdeck every 5 mins and surprisingly finding satisfaction in the fact that @someguy just reached office 1 hour late. Or @somedude’s car is making strange noises. Or @officeperson’s boss is an idiot. You’re interested in knowing exactly which song @somegirl just heard on Blip.fm and when there’s a cricket match on, you don’t even have to check cricinfo because every other person is live twittering the score.

Then if something more interesting than breathing happens to you, you feel the urge to let it be known to the whole world. Or at least the 100 people who are following you. (Actually ~60 actual people. The rest are just bots).

If you are NOT on Twiter then you are a selfish person! How dare you deny others of the complete knowledge of how your day is going? Why aren’t you sharing your boring life with us? You think you’re better than us? Is it a state secret that you just had Rajma Chawal for lunch? You cant take this information to the grave… go on, sign up. Share.
