After cooking, my dad start eating the crab first. And by the time I want to take my share, he’s already making noises. Noises like ‘eh hou sek la’, ‘hmmm mmmm’, ‘ngom ngom…mmm’.

I gave out some silence chuckles thinking… “Ahh just like me. When I cook something delicious, I will make noises as well”.

The spiced crab taste is not out of this world but it’s pretty good.

Speaking about food, I time the eating speed of Chester on his regular meal (1 and 1/2 cup kibbles). It’s 1 minute 59 seconds!!! No kidding. All I hear is 2 bites, a few slurps, 2 bites, a few slurps… like that. Hahaha

I was just a little punk when I first listened to Billy Jean on the radio. Tried the moonwalk thingy without success (haha just a kiddo ma) and was so inspired by We Are The World. Ahh memories. I regretted for not attending his HIStory World Tour concert. Still spanking myself after all these years. Albeit all the tragic incidents that swept his life after that, he remained a hero to me.

So yes he came and grab my dumbbell! Puzzled at first but I soon realized why.

This is a case of misidentifying a dumbbell for a bone.

You see, I’ve never ever given him a bone before. Not even a small piece of bone. Except bone biscuits. Hehe

I have this stupid idea that he will choke while eating a bone or the bone will get stuck somewhere in his belly or intestines that will later on pose danger to his health.

Over worry? Guilty as charged!

I’m sorry Chester that you have never ever tasted a REAL bone before. Maybe dog owners out there can advice me on what kind of bone is the ’safest’ for a dog?

Last weekend, my dad suggested TGIF and we all agreed since it’s been quite awhile. We always go to the one at Subang Parade. It’s been good to us. Many memories were etched there.

We saw this 2 course meal deals banner outside their restaurant whereby you choose an appetizer & entree for RM29.90. We decided to go for that.

Fried Mac & Cheese

I’ve been looking forward to taste this dish since I read it at Sloppy Chic’s food blog. Unfortunately it’s a disappointment for me. Even my parents do not like it. It’s dry, non-crispy & no oozing of cheese when you bite into it. Let me wonder what’s so special about it after all.

Boneless Wings

Another one that I’ve been dying to try. But opps another disappointment. It’s tender alright. However some portions are on the salty side whereas some are more on heavily spiced side. Guess the marinade were not done properly. But I eat it anyway because I love chicken breast.

Our entrees:

Sizzling Chicken & Cheese

Hmm another no good one. How many must be endured? The chicken is on the ‘hard’ side. We have to eat it slowly in order to swallow it. LOL The sliced onions & capsicums tasted good though. Mashed potatoes is too little! (or maybe my dad ’sapu’ already while I’m not looking) Haha.

Fish & Chips

I gotta said this is the best dish we ordered. Don’t like the chips but the fish is really good.

We end our meals with Dessert Minis; Mocha & Strawberry Parfait. RM6 for 2. I didn’t take any photos because I couldn’t wait to get out of the restaurant!

You know why? We have to asked twice each for our dessert & additional order of mango drink. And the ladies’ loo is a mess. Real mess. Rubbish (as in tissues) are everywhere. Bin was full and the tissue are mounting as high as Everest. Plus we were short changed. Not much but still… hai!

TGIF is known for their heart-warming services. But I don’t sense it that day. There were no happy greetings & ’smile’ serving.

p/s: Have you had this situation before: Parents are so hungry. And there you are, taking pictures of the food. Eventually I let them dig into it. Bad pictures pun bad pictures la.

Those houses cost over RM400k. So it’s no wonder they’re targets now. Most of the time robbers’ prefer to target new housing I think.

Coincidentally my neighbor is renovating their home. It’s like saying ‘I’ve got moolah’.

My dad said “Better don’t renovate house first. Wait economy better.’

I agreed with him whole-heartily.

This morning I caught another kind of offender. Few months ago (if you remember or don’t at all), we found dog poos outside our home every few mornings which I inevitably wrote a notice and leave it outside for the offender to see.

The poo thing stopped after that. But it came back again 2 weeks ago.

My mom angrily said “If you see that girl letting her dog poo here again, scold her ma.”

Like we said before, we have our suspect & evidence. Just that we have no eye-witness.

Anyway I caught the offender today just when I was out retrieving the morning paper. The pug trotted to our house and start doing his business like nobody business. He has a leash on but they were on the ground. The owner didn’t hold on to the leash. No wonder the dog can run anywhere and poo wherever he likes. DUH!!!

The owner quickly grab the leash and walk away after that. The business is done. Haha But I stopped her.

“Excuse me. Please pick it up ya”

She acknowledged with a nod and said “I’ll do it later”

I check outside few minutes later and I don’t see no poo anymore. Hehe In a way I think my way of dealing with the situation is better than the one my mom suggested. No point scolding ma. We are after all neighbors. *I think the pug loves to poo here due to Chester’s scent. Metrosexual dog scent! Hahahaha*

I was planning to build an ‘official’ signage this weekend. I have a long stick and a piece of square plank. All I need is to think of a kick a$$ message. But nah maybe I’ll wait and see how. I’m giving them a chance.

But still what would you write on the signage? Time to show your creativity.
