When George Bush was President, the mainstream media took every chance it got to point out when his polls numbers were dropping.  Now fast forward to the near state-run media with Obama, you won’t hear a peep about his approval ratings. It isn’t because they are high, it’s because they are steadily dropping. 

Many are speculating at exactly why this is happening, but I believe it’s a combination of several factors.

1. People aren’t getting their “free” stuff that they thought Obama would provide.
2. Economy is getting worse.  Even the most economically ignorant democrat is starting to see that.
3. They see Obama placing the country in debt that it possibly can’t get out of.
4. They see how radical Obama really is, and that his liberal agenda just isn’t working.

Of course, this is just a small list, but the fact is people are realizing the liberal agenda put forth by Obama, Reid, and Pelosi just doesn’t work.  We see this in another recent poll showing the country moving more towards the right.

Despite the results of the 2008 presidential election, Americans, by a 2-to-1 margin, say their political views in recent years have become more conservative rather than more liberal, 39% to 18%, with 42% saying they have not changed. While independents and Democrats most often say their views haven’t changed, more members of all three major partisan groups indicate that their views have shifted to the right rather than to the left.

Another recent Gallup poll shows Americans think the Democratic is becoming “too liberal”.  I mean, it all really adds up.  This is great news for the GOP, but unfortunately they really have no idea on how to capitalize on any of this.  They should be hitting hard on this, along with news about how the stimulus has been a complete failure.  But nothing.  2010 could be a major sweep in preparation for ‘12, but if they keep worrying about offending someone they will never get there.

Stand up Republicans, and fight for America!

We are unfortunately 6 months into the Obama Presidency, and it seems people are finally beginning to understand what a mistake it was to elect a “community organizer” during this time of crisis.  In just this short period of time, Obama has out-spent 8 years of Bush in one bill, and now is pushing for Trillions in new entitlements that the country simply cannot afford.

But lets go back a few months to the so-called “stimulus” bill, which once again, cost the American taxpayer an unfathomable amount of money.  Obama and his fellow democrats told us the stimulus was necessary for economic recover, and that it would create jobs and turn the economy around.  People with any amount of common sense realized the stimulus was a waste of money, and that the millions of dollars that were put in to quietly fund Obama’s far-left groups like ACORN made this bill a total sham.  That didn’t stop them from ramming it through without even reading much of it.

So here we are, and the latest job figures from June are out, and we see the U.S. has lost nearly another 500,000 jobs, and that number is expected to rise even higher.  Many states are in double-digit unemployment, and the U.S. percentage is effectively there already.  I remember several years ago when unemployment was at 4.5%, and democrats were saying it was the worst economy since Hoover.  Where are they now?  I know where, they are still trying to blame Bush.

The United States has lost millions of jobs since he took office, but you never seem to hear that in the media.  The stimulus has not worked, and has actually had a negative effect on the economy.  There are not many signs of the economy turning around anytime soon, can it last until we get someone in charge who knows what they are doing?

These people are simply unbelievable. They care nothing about their country.
