Chrome — a web or internet browser developed by Google and was based on a open-source webkit bassed browser, codename Chromium. Among the famous internet browser such as Safari, Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer (Windows only), Chrome pops from Google and manage to reside on people computer, except Mac.

Chrome was known as one of the fastest Javascript engin available, the V8. Moreover, Chrome was also known as the first browser with independent Tab-Processing, unlike the others. This concept protects other active tabs if in any case one of the tab producing error or hangs.

Back to my topic, for the time being, Chrome only available for Windows based operating system, and not Mac or Linux. However, the foundation project of Chrome, codename Chromium has a solution for Mac or Linux. Sorf of. Because this build is currently under constructions and available as Alpha Build. This means that it is very unstable and not recomended for production usage.

How to get Chromium for Mac

To get Chromium, the download link does not reside on the Chrome download page because this is a developers build, means that it is not available for normal user. Therefore, the download available at Chromium developer’s link, located at

http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/.

Click on the link, and it will bring you to a simple directory which looks like the image below.

Next, click on the link entitled chromium-rel-mac. This folder is where all the latest build of Chromium Mac resides. Once you’re inside the folder, scroll to the bottom of the listed build. That is the latest build for Chromium Mac.

Within the latest build folder, there will be two (2) files, changelog.xml and chrome-mac.zip. Download the chrome-mac.zip. Once the download has finished, extract the zip file and you will have you Chromium.app. Drag the application file to your Application folder.

Now, you’re done and you can start testing Chrome-like browser on your Mac! However, there will be certain limitation and bugs.

So far, these are the limitations and bugs I manage to take note:
1. No flash player
2. Lightview Plus plugin does not work (Scriptaculous.js? Prototype.js?)
3. PopUp Window issue. The tab relocated in the middle of the window. Haha.
4. Download file icon. The Icon seems not to scale down according to what it supposed to do. Anyhoo, the download works fine.

Overall, it is freaking sleek, simple and high speed on page rendering. Totally awesome! Chrome for Mac, where are you?!

8TV’s biggest Murder Mystery show, every Sunday, 10.30 p.m.

Review:

So far, this series is a very thrilling and heart-pumping tv series ever showed on Malaysian television. Ghost season 1 was about a mystery of Zack Imran and how he was murdered. This season is story about a murder case which happened two years later.

The summary from Ghost SE02 main page,

Ghost 2 takes place two years after Zack Imran’s murder was solved. Life is going well for Eza, she is a full-fledged journalist and has a loving fiancé by her side. Eza is now working on her latest investigation — the disappearance of Alicia Soo, the beautiful socialite and daughter of the prominent defence attorney, Edmund Soo. Eza follows a series of clues and she discovers Harum… Eza sees Harum, but the problem is Harum is already dead.

Eza is now faced with another case — the murder of Harum. Eza’s investigation into Alicia’s case leads her to confront many suspects, and she later finds out that Alicia and Harum are half-sisters through Edmund.

In the mean time, Eza keeps receiving pictures of various victims from an anonymous sender. They all have something in common — a heart in a triangle carved on their wrist. Who is this mystery man? Could he be the one responsible for what happened to Alicia and Harum?

As Eza races against time to stop this mystery murderer, she learns that all the cases are somehow linked. The victims are all loved ones of a group of men who have a similar past and who are also connected to the mystery murderer and… Zack.

However, I would like to focus a few points which I think the viewers should know.

1. The scene where Eza & Haris & Alicia were tied to a chair, with a hanging bottle on their side, is the same idea as what has been implemented in a movie entitled ‘Untraceable’, where the liquid contains harmful solution and triggered by a computer-or-gadget-related tool.
2. Harum. If she knows where is Romeo keeping Alicia, can’t she just tell Eza? Ok, that will be a turn-off because the story will become short. Haha.
3. Why on earth, there are also advertisement within the video on the web? Pergh. It is disturbing the mood!
4. Now, the series does mimicking the Heroes series. People have power and special ability, and the mastermind keep on changing. Ergh.
5. Romeo died. Or shall I say Ramlan died. But he turn into ghost, like Zack Imran and Harum. That is the reason why he can posses anyone he wants, including Ramdin, the police. Hahaha.
6. Or, he didn’t die at all. Haha.
7. What eva~ I have no more idea. Lalala~

One thing, you guys have to watch this series. Seriously, it is a must-watch series by Malaysian. View Ghost online, here. But, before that you have to register yourself first. Have fun watching!

Before I start with the topic, I would like to wish to my Kakak Medi a belated Happy Birthday. Her birthdate is on the 1st of July. Congratulation kakak. Oh ya, she is one of the Kakaks that have the same age as I do. Hehe.

Ok, back to my original topic ‘A Wish From My Mom’. Everything started with a simple conversation. We were talking about my little brother, D’dous, of what he should become when he grow up later.

Mom : He can be a Doctor. With his attitude, he gonna be the best.

Me : Oh. Yup. He will. So, what about Fatimah? What did she pick for her major?

Mom : Bla bla bla (I can’t remember)

Me : So, let D’dous become a dentist then. He should be fine with that. Right?

Mom : Nope. I want him to become a surgeon.

Mom : He is good with things related to hand and he is precise too.

Mom : I really want a dentist in the family. The person can take care of our toothache.

Me : Oh, so.. Who then?

Mom : I think I wanna have a daughter in-law which is a dentist. Salaam, go out and find one.

Me : Erk? Me?

Mom : I have a friend. Her children are studying medicine. Perhaps, she got one.

Me : =.=’

Haha. I think she can read my mind. Yup. I want to find a doctor as my soulmate. Does this mean I am choosy? However, so far, I have none of my friend that I knew, is studying for dentistry. I have friend who currently studying medicine, but there’s only one, and she is my Kakak too. Currently, she’s studying in Indonesia. Definitely, she told me that she is on her way to become a great surgeon.

So, I’m left with no one. Hahaha. If you’re asking me why I choose a dentist? Honestly, I don’t know why, but if it does fulfill my mom’s wish, I’m good with it.

Sorry Eddie, I had to interfere your market. It is my mom’s wish. Hehe.

It seems that, lately, I am posting personal entries and emotional stuff. Erk. I love to write tech-like post too. Hmm.

Ok, how should I start or where should I start? Hmm.

I departed from Shah Alam on Thursday night, a day earlier than what I have originally planned. On Wednesday, I bought a return bus ticket. The first plan was Mutiara, but the sales person was not there. I have waited for quite sometime, yet there was still no one. Thus, I bought e.Budaya instead. Hohoho. The trip to Pasir Puteh was killing me! The bus was speeding and breaking. WTH!? I barely slept because I was being conscious incase if anything happened.

Ok. Sorry folks, I don’t feel like writing a full essay, so I’ll put summaries and points.

1. In Pasir Puteh, I slept at my cousin’s house, which also my batch-mate of my standard 6, but she was in a different class.
2. My first breakfast was ‘Nasi Berlauk’. Ok, some guys might say that is a normal meal, but here, it is a rice with fish cooked with yellowish gravy. Haha. Seriously, I am fail in describing food. Anyhoo, it was blast! Nyum nyum.
3. During Friday prayer, I was the only person who performs solah dressing in black t-shirt and jeans, without ’songkok’ or ‘kopiah’ on my head. I felt like everyone was watching me, like some kind of weirdo in the Masjid. =.=”
4. For dinner, my auntie served me with satay, and banana. Yes, banana.
5. Oh ya, we picked up grandma before we bought the satay. She packed me a bag full of ‘Buah Salak’ from her own orchard around her house. The trees were planted by my late grandpa. Al-Fatihah.
6. After dinner, went to my another auntie’s house. Had a great conversation with her while watching Rush Hour 2. Hehe. She served me mangos. A lot of mangos! Nyum nyum.
7. Back at 11.30 pm. I can’t sleep because I was too excited with the gathering on the next day, so I watch 3 movies instead. Haha. I slept at 4.00 am. 6.28 am, grandma woke me up. T_T
8. Get ready for the gathering. I was told that they going to pick me up at 8.00 am, yet it was 9.15 am. Hehe. They were picking up others.
9. Went to Tok Bali and set up the barbeque grill.
10. Meeting those folks which I left them in Kelantan after 8 years without news and updates. Missed them very much! Muah muah!
11. We had talks, and talks and gossips and talks and gossips. Hahaha. Syikin was the loudest person of all. Pot pet pot pet. Hahaha.
12. Syikin brought the bibliography books which we wrote for her 8 years ago. Guess what, I wrote my crush name inside the book and Syikin read it loud! WTH! Demn you. Hahaha.
13. She also brought some photos. Waah, the memories. *grin*
14. Had our lunch and continue with the chatting and gossiping, then the rain was about to fall. We packed up our food and ready to move our ass from there.
15. Had several photo sessions. Sadly, I’m still the shortest guy within guys, but not anymore among girls. Yea! Haha.
16. After we left the place, the rain stop. It was a dummy. =.=”
17. Sent people back home.
18. Arrived at my auntie’s house. Adib was talking to her, but I was too sleepy. Haha.
19. Woke up at 6.00 pm, preparing for my trip to Shah Alam on that night.
20. Packed a box full of ‘Buah Salak’.
21. 9.15 pm, the bus arrived, and I’m back on the hellish trip to Shah Alam.
22. Arrived in Shah Alam at 5.30 am.

Things to focus or highlight :

1. If you ever watched a movie entitle ‘Budak Kelantan’. Imagine all those Kelantanese dialect that I have to go through. Hahaha. Seriously, it is the same as what the movie has pictured to you. Keno kecek klate. Tapi gak, kawe kecek luar. Haha.
2. Kelantanese is a community with complex dialect, yet simple relationship. They held an event which going to involve everyone surrounding and relatives with a simple reason : they want to meet you and inform you of anything, such as a death of a person.
3. I had my kueh : che mek molek, and some of them which I can’t recognize. One thing, they are way better from Lembah Kelang’s kueh. Lalala.
4. Had my ‘Nasi Kerabu’ in Kelantan style. Blueish rice. Hohoho.
5. I can watch stars on the sky. KL / Shah Alam / urban city has been polluted with street lights and such. *wink*wink*

Haha. Ok-ok. I know I was late for this, but I want to do my review upon this movie. Ok, here it goes:

1. The movie is simple. The story line, not the dialect.
2. I brings me memories of living in Kelantan years back.
3. Some of the character looks uneasy when they have to act. Not that natural. Overall it was nice.
4. For those who watched this movie, please do not stereotype all Kelantanese as what has been pictured to you. I must say that, they might exist, but same goes to everyone. Not just Kelantanese.
5. The plots of the movie make me worried of our youngster. T_T
6. It is an awesome movie, because the movie was fully spoken with Kelantanese dialect. Lalala.

Well, today I arrived safely in Shah Alam at 5.30 am.

For your information, by the time you were reading this, I am on the bus (Ekspress Budaya) heading to Pasir Puteh Kelantan. The reason why I’m going back to Kelantan is to get rid of the mess up urban life and all of you. Yes, I am running away from all of you.

Hahaha. Just joking. The truth is, I’m going back for 2 days 1 night to Pasir Puteh to attend my Primary School gathering, after 8 years and a half leaving the school. Besides that, I’m also visiting my lonely grandma in Gaal, Kampung Changgai.

The gathering will be held on Saturday, some where at the beach, if I am not mistaken. Seriously, I can’t wait to meet all of them. Missed them very much. T_T

Owh. Before I forgot, everyone has to buy a present, which will be exchanged during a game. Yet, I have no idea what to bring. Hahaha.

This is all what I wanted to say. Ok, minus the kissing part.

It was many days back, when I had my worst days ever. I can’t even put a smile on my face. I lost my smile. However, one day, when I was not in the mood of doing anything, including finishing my important Mineral practical labs, she secretly type a note in my Nokia E61, while I was sleeping in the lab. She wrote:

Hi salam. Ure currently sleeping in class and i’m too lazy to do any of my work. Seems like we both under the weather today. Hmmm. I won’t tell you that i wrote u a note. I’ll just leave it as a surprise so that it’ll maybe brighten up ur day as ure going through ur phone. Hehe. Byes! From your ever loving, caring, and pretty friend, Kim. (smile)

Yes. The person was Ann-Marie Kimberley. Ergh. Demn, I forgot her full name. Sorry Kimmy. Yes, I read the note on that particular day itself, 12th May 2009. And yes, Kim, you make my day. I was smiling and laughing to myself. I not sure why, but I felt better when I read it for the first time. It was very unpredictable. Thanks a lot Kim. Thanks.
