Covey takes you through this change,
which affects how you perceive and act regarding productivity, time management, positive thinking,
developing your ?proactive muscles? (acting with initiative rather than reacting), and much more.
This isn?t a quick-tips-start-tomorrow kind of book. The concepts are sometimes intricate,
and you?ll want to study this book, not skim it. When you finish, you?
ll probably have Post-it notes or hand-written annotations in every chapter,
and you?ll feel like you?ve taken a Powerful seminar by Covey.

http://www.uploading.com/files/AICMU3DN/The_7_Habits_Of_Highly_Effective_People.rar.html

PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) - $102,000 average salary in 2008
2. PMI Certified Associate in Project Management
3. ITIL v. 2 - Foundation
4. (ISC)2’s Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
5. Cisco CCIE - $93,500 average Salary in 2008
6. Cisco Certified Voice Professional - $88,600 average Salary in 2008

Just for comparison purposes, the highest paying Microsoft certification is the Microsoft Certified Solution Developer ($84,522).

and

While the top 6 hot certs list is compiled of up-and-coming certifications, many hiring managers' top choices are still "oldies but goodies." Here are the top 10 certs they told us they look for:

1. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
2. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE): Windows 2003
3. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA): Windows 2003
4. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
5. CompTIA A+
6. Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST)
7. MCSE: Security
8. Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA): SQL 2000
9. CompTIA Network+
10. MCSE: Messaging

And for 2009:

1. CCIE
The CCIE always ends up on lists like these, and with good reason. With a pass rate of only 26% it is certainly the most difficult of all IT certifications. Once you place this on your resume, you know you have a truly impressive credential and can expect to earn an average salary of $93,000.

2. CISA
With the economic climate these days, big business needs auditors more than ever. The CISA is designed to certify audit skills, both technical and ethical. According to GoCertify.com, the average CISA can earn as much as $115,000.

3. CCSE
The CCSE is another high level security certification that created for individuals who work with Checkpoint products and must maintain secure VPNs. The demand for this certification is evident in the pay as shown on PayScale.

4. MCSD
The Microsoft Certified Solution Developer certification is designed for people who like to problem-solve. You are expected to know about enterprise solutions and Microsoft products. You will be expected to use business analysis skills to decide which solution is best for a particular environment or business. Here is the PayScale for the MCSD.

5. PMP
The Project Management Professional certification is here because it is another that requires an extensive amount of skill and experience to obtain. Once you have passed the exam and fulfilled the requirements you can pull in around $101,000 (based on a ZDNET Salary Survey).

6. CISSP
Notice a theme on this list? Security certifications are very hot right now. The Certified Information Systems Security Professional demands a good salary (around $94,000) and can be obtained with just a few years of experience or equivalent education. Only one exam is required.

7. RHCE
If you can configure networking and security on a Red Hat OS then the Red Hat Certified Engineer is a great certification for you. The exam is not actually an exam, it's a five-hour hands-on test of your Linux skills. You certainly can't braindump your way through this one. Although it is not exactly entry level, Red Hat has several training programs for all levels of experience. Once you get through the testing process your salary could jump to $83,000.

8. SCJP 6.0
Ideal for all web developers, the SCJP is a start on the path to many other development certifications. You can build on the SCJP to get the SCJD (Sun Certified Developer for the Java 2 Platform), SCWCD (Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the J2EE Platform), SCMAD (Sun Certified Mobile Application Developer), or the SCBCD (Sun Certified Business Component Developer).
You can also use your SCJP 6.0 Certification toward the Oracle Certified Solution Developer and Oracle Certified Enterprise Developer programs, and the Master CIW Enterprise Developer certifications.
SCJP 6.0 covers a few new topics including Console, NavigableSet, and NavigableMap. Salaries for SCJP certified professionals range from $75,000 to 100,000.

9. CAPM

The CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification is a great choice for project managers who can verify 1,500 hours of project management experience (versus the more demanding 3-5 years of experience for a PMP). The CAPM is for team members who support projects.

The group that offers the CAPM and PMP is the Project Management Institute (PMI). The PMI is highly respected in the industry and the demand for good project managers is steadily growing. These two facts put together are the reason why the CAPM is on the list. Once you are certified you can earn up to $75,000.

10. MCSD
Earning the MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer) certification shows that you are not just a developer. You also have the skills to analyze and design leading-edge Microsoft enterprise solutions. This is a certification for software engineers and software architects. Salaries for MCSD's range from $70,000 to over $100,000.

This book has been written mainly from the perspective of Java/J2EE job seekers and interviewers. There are numerous books and articles on the market covering specific topics like Java, J2EE, EJB, Design Patterns, ANT, CVS, Multi-Threading, Servlets, JSP, emerging technologies like AOP (Aspect Oriented Programming), Test Driven Development (TDD), Dependency Injection Dl (aka IoC - Inversion of Control) etc. But from an interview perspective it is not possible to brush up on all these books where each book usually has from 300 pages to 600 pages. The basic purpose of this book is to cover all the core concepts and key areas, which all Java/J2EE developers, designers and architects should be conversant with to perform well in their current jobs and to launch a successful career by doing well at interviews. The interviewer can also use this book to make sure that they hire the right candidate depending on their requirements. This book contains a wide range of topics relating to Java/J2EE development in a concise manner supplemented with diagrams, tables, sample codes and examples. This book is also appropriately categorized to enable you to choose the area of interest to you. This book will assist all Java/J2EE practitioners to become better at what they do. Usually it takes years to understand all the core concepts and key areas when you rely only on your work experience. The best way to fast track this is to read appropriate technical information and proactively apply these in your work environment. It worked for me and hopefully it will work for you as well. I was also at one stage undecided whether to name this book "Java/J2EE core concepts and key areas" or "Java/J2EE Job Interview Companion". The reason I chose "Java/J2EE Job Interview Companion" is because the core concepts and key areas discussed in this book helped me to be successful in my interviews, helped me to survive and succeed at my work regardless what my job (junior developer, senior developer, technical lead, designer, contractor etc) was and also gave me thumbs up in code reviews. This book also has been set out as a handy reference guide and a roadmap for building enterprise Java applications.

http://www.mediafire.com/?sml2twnvyxy

This is a subcommand to the router ospf process-id command. It is necessary only on the ABR, but all the other routers in the area must be configured as stub routers.

3: What is a virtual link, and what command would you use to create it?

** A virtual link is a link that creates a tunnel through an area to the backbone (Area 0). This allows an area that cannot connect directly to the backbone to do so virtually. The command to create the link is area area-id virtual-link router-id. Note that the area-id that is supplied is that of the transit area, and the router-id is that of the router at the other end of the link. The command needs to be configured at both ends of the tunnel.

4: Where would you issue the command to summarize IP subnets? State the command that is used.

** Summarization is done at area boundaries. The command to start summarization is the area range command, with the syntax area area-id range address mask. To summarize external routes, use the summary-address command on the ASBRs.

5: How would you summarize external routes before injecting them into the OSPF domain?

** The command summary-address address mask is the command that you would use.

6: When is a virtual link used?

** A virtual link is used when an area is not directly attached to the backbone area (Area 0). This may be due to poor design and a lack of understanding about the operation of OSPF, or it may be due to a link failure. The most common cause of an area separating from the backbone is link failure, which can also cause the backbone to be segmented. The virtual link is used in these instances to join the two backbone areas together. Segmented backbone areas might also be the result of two companies merging.

7: Give the command for defining the cost of a default route propagated into an area.

** The command to define the cost of a default route propagated into another area is area area-id default-cost cost.

8: Give an example of when it would be appropriate to define a default cost.

** It is appropriate to define a default cost for the default route when a stub area has more than one ABR. This command allows the ABR or exit point for the area to be determined by the network administrator. If this link or the ABR fails, the other ABR will become the exit point for the area.

9: On which router is the area default cost defined?

** The default cost for the default route is defined on the ABR. The ABR will then automatically generate and advertise the route cost along with the default route.

10: Give the command to configure a stub area and state on which router it is configured.

** The command syntax to configure a stub area is area area-id stub. This command is configured on the ABR connecting to the area and on all the routers within the area. Once the configuration is completed, the Hellos are generated with the E bit set to 0. All routers in the area will only form adjacencies with other routers that have the E bit set.

11: What is the purpose of the area range command, and why is it configured on the ABR?

** The area range command is configured on an ABR because it dictates the networks that will be advertised out of the area. It is used to consolidate and summarize the routes at an area boundary.

12: Give the commands to configure a router to place subnets 144.111.248.0 through to 144.111.255.0 in Area 1 and to put all other interfaces into Area 0.
** The commands are as follows:

network 144.111.248.0 0.0.7.255 area 1

network 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 area 0

13: Give the syntax to summarize the subnets 144.111.248.0 to 144.111.254.255 into another autonomous system.
** The syntax is as follows:

summary-address 144.111.248.0 255.255.248.0

14: Explain briefly the difference between the area range command and the summary-address command.

** The area range command is used to summarize networks between areas and is configured on the ABR. The summary-address command is used to summarize networks between autonomous systems and is configured on the ASBR.

15: Explain the following syntax and what it will achieve: area 1 stub no-summary.

** The command area 1 stub no-summary creates a totally stubby area. The number after the word area indicates the area that is being defined as a totally stubby area. This is necessary because the router might be an ABR with connections to many areas. Once this command is issued, it prevents summarized and external routes from being propagated by the ABR into the area. To reach the networks and hosts outside the area, routers must use the default route advertised by the ABR into the area.

16: Why would you configure the routing process to log adjacency changes as opposed to turning on debug for the same trigger?

** The reason to configure the router process to log adjacency changes to syslog as opposed to running debug is an issue of resources. It takes fewer router and administrator resources to report on a change of state as it happens than to have the debugger running constantly. The debug process has the highest priority and thus everything waits for it.

17: Give some of the common reasons that neighbors fail to form an adjacency.

** Many OSPF problems stem from adjacency problems that propagate throughout the network. Many problems are often traced back to neighbor discrepancies.

If a router configured for OSPF routing is not seeing an OSPF neighbor on an attached network, do the following:

- Make sure that both routers are configured with the same IP mask, MTU, Interface Hello timer, OSPF Hello interval, and OSPF dead interval.

- Make sure that both neighbors are part of the same area and area type.

- Use the debug and show commands to trace the problem.

18: When configuring a virtual link, which routers are configured?

** The configuration is between the ABRs, where one of the ABRs resides in Area 0 and the other in the area that is disconnected from the backbone. Both of the ABRs are also members of the transit area. Having created the virtual link, both ABRs are now members of Area 0, the disconnected area, and the transit area.

19: What does the command area 1 default-cost 15 achieve?

** The command area 1 default-cost 15 will assign a cost of 15 to the default route that is to be propagated into the stub area. This command is configured on the ABR attached to the stub area.

20: Explain what is placed in the parameters area-id and router-id for the command area area-id virtual-link router-id.

** The parameter area-id is the area ID of the transit area. So if the ABR in Area 0 is creating a virtual link with the ABR in Area 3 through Area 2, the area ID stated in the command is Area 2. The router ID is the router ID of the router with whom the link is to be formed and a neighbor relationship and adjacency established.

If used correctly can make the difference between living a life full of abundance or misery?

Did you know that at the age of retirement, according to the Social Security Administration, 96% of people are dead, broke, or still working? Did you know that only 3% are well-to-do and 1% are truly rich in a financial sense? I believe that this is 100% related to mindset. The top 4% who hold and control over 96% of the wealth must think differently. In short they use their mind differently than the 96% of the population who get very different results. This article is going to reveal to you how very successful people make consistent quantum leaps in their life by using their intellectual factors. Here are the six intellectual factors that contribute to the right mindset for success:

Reason: Within the conscious part of our mind we have the ability to reason and logically process information based on the data we perceive around us through our five senses. Our five senses include: sight, smell, taste, hearing, and touch. The vast majority of people do not effectively use the intellectual factor of reason. They follow some programming or habitual ways of being where every day is a repeat experience of the day that has passed. To complicate matters, the average person watches many hours of television each day. Watching television causes the viewer to move into a trance like state where thinking and reason is suspended. This even applies to watching educational programs. Thinking is a volitional process, meaning that the individual must choose to think and set time aside to see how they can better their life and form a definite plan to move in a positive direction. If no time is spent truly thinking, is it a surprise that the future is a repeat experience of the past? How much time do you spend truly thinking about what you want and how you can get it?

Imagination: We can create pictures on the screen of our mind of anything we want to have, to do or to become. Do you remember when you were a child how rich and vivid your imagination was? Do you remember the level of enjoyment you had imagining the places you would go, the things you would have, and who you would become? Why is it that as we age our ability to use our imagination to continue to get what we want diminishes? Do you realize that through the traditional educational system our imagination and creativity is suppressed? One of the keys to moving forward is to know exactly what we want in all aspects of our life. When we know what we want we can see a picture of it in our mind. Do you know what you want? Many people I ask this question to have no idea what they really want and correspondingly are not on the road to get it Intuition: This intellectual factor requires you to use your instincts to take action that leads to a positive result. Our intuition is directly related to how aware are we are about who we are and our surroundings. The very aware individual is able to pick up slight nuances in behavior exhibited by the people around them. From this heightened sense of awareness, they are able to respond in a way that leads to optimum results. In various self-development programs, intuition is likened to be our connection to infinite intelligence, God or of the many thousands of names used throughout the world. Whether you believe in an intelligent source of knowledge or not is not relevant to your ability to use your intuition. If you want to become more intuitive, you have to learn how to calm your mind and to become an incredible listener. Only through calming your mind and really listening, can you build awareness of what it is you need to do to move forward in life. When you experience a hunch or a flash of inspiration, this is your intuition talking to you. These flashes of inspiration may come often or very seldom. In the beginning as you involve your intuition these flashes of inspiration will be far apart. As you get used to using your intuition and taking action on the inspiration that comes to you, you will benefit from this intellectual factor more often.

Perception: The way you view the world has to do with your perception. You are free to perceive the world in any way you want but you are not free from the benefits or the consequences of your perception. For example, if you believe that you can fly unaided by any mechanical devices and you jump off a tall building you will soon learn that you perceived the world incorrectly. This may seem like an obvious example but ask yourself why do many people perceive the world as an evil place in which prospering in life is impossible? Is it any surprise that the people who are succeeding in life have a perception that life is full of abundance and opportunity for the able and capable individual? Do you perceive the world half-full or half-empty? Are you generally a very happy individual who is optimistic for what today will bring or are you pessimistic as you drag yourself out of bed throughout the day, as if living represents a terrible chore? Your perception of the world and your life is completely in your control. The most successful people on the planet understand this intellectual factor and irrespective of the challenges they face, always seem to look for the silver lining. Are you this person? Do you want to be this person? If so what are you prepared to do to evolve this intellectual factor?

Memory: How many times have you admitted that you do not have a good memory? Have you ever told somebody that you're good at remembering faces but cannot seem to remember names? Do you realize that you have a perfect memory? Perhaps all that is necessary is for you to train your memory to allow you to recall information more efficiently? In today's world, there are individuals with so called incredible memory. They are able to remember all of the details contained within a large book, they can remember the many places and people may have met throughout their whole life. Are these individuals better then others? The answer is no " they have only trained themselves to use their memory and based on training this intellectual factor (very much like training a muscle in the body) it has grown strong and serves them greatly. In future articles will discuss how you can improve your memory.

The Will: When you start a project how likely are you to finish the project? When you form your New Year's resolutions do you stick to them? Do you allow the opinion of others and life's circumstances to derail you from what it is that you want? When you sit down to work on your project does your mind wander and think about other things? Your will is one of the most important factors that will decide everything about who you become and what you have in life. Individuals who have a highly evolved will have capacity to focus on a single topic long enough to ensure its completion. Once a project is complete they are able to focus on the next project or task at hand and complete it. This is how they move very rapidly through life.

In future articles, we will discuss how to evolve each of these intellectual factors. If you don't believe that these factors are responsible for all the major discoveries and innovations that mankind benefits from today ask yourself could we have landed on the moon without these intellectual factors? Could we travel around the world with first-class accommodations while we cruise on the Internet and drink a cold beverage without these intellectual factors? You'll soon realize that every major innovation is as a result of someone's ability to not only understand these intellectual factors but put them into action to achieve outstanding results. - 18099

About the Author:

When you change your habits, actions and thoughts, your whole life will change. Can It Benefit Your Business?

By Theo Benmanson

We all like to get positive or constructive feedback and when it is delivered in the right way it can really benefit both the individual and the business. Even so, with evidence to support this idea, it is the fact that people do not receive feedback that is considered to be the major contributor to their decision to leave their workplace, so it really is important to provide feedback to your employees. It is a wise decision as it allows you to find out where employees may require support or skills development to enable them to raise their performance levels.

So, why is 360 degree feedback used? It has been generated from the requirement to provide an increase in frequency and quality of feedback to employees. This is in addition to the annual appraisal where the employee visit's the manager's office to be given a summary of their strengths and weaknesses.

In the past, it has been left to the manager to provide feedback: because of the more complex nature of the managerial role and increased workloads, this task has been neglected. 360 degree feedback allows for an increased amount of feedback through a wider circle of providers and includes peer evaluation, self evaluation and direct reports. At the end of the process, the individual in question will have at their disposal a detailed report that enables them to compare their perceptions of work with those of their peers. Once the report is completed, there is provision for a performance coach to provide guidance regarding any necessary improvement plan.

360 degree feedback has a number of benefits: the insight that employees gain regarding their behavioural weaknesses allows them to better manage their careers, working on interpersonal skills and attaining leadership qualifications and their employer reaps the benefits of having a highly skilled and experienced workforce and the associated increased productivity and quality of work.

What are the key elements of a successful 360 degree feedback process?

There are six of these.

1. Top management must have ownership of the process and support its implementation. Employees need to gain the skills necessary to provide constructive feedback. Most importantly, managers must be willing to use the skills that they have attained to provide any relevant ongoing coaching.

2. All surveys that are given must have a relationship with the mission statement of the company and the skills for which the company is searching and should consider the skills that are needed to obtain both individual and company success.

3. Everyone concerned with the process must attend a 360 orientation. At this orientation they will be informed that 360 is merely a developmental tool and should never be used in performance appraisal. Confidentiality is also stressed to make sure that all involved are comfortable with the process.

4. Questionnaires or surveys are filled in. Most of these surveys are filled in online where special encryption software can guarantee the security of the data collection.

5. Completed surveys are collated and placed into a report which includes verbatim comments and then given to the individual in question. The report should be easy to read. Senior management is presented with a summary of the group, in which the ratings are tallied numerically, indicating strengths and weaknesses as a group. Such information is useful to make decisions regarding training to coincide with the needs of the group.

6. Any necessary coaching is then given to individuals to make the required improvements. The best coach is one that remains impartial and who focuses on goal setting that is helpful and realistic. Managers can also take on a supportive role in coaching; this will reinforce any skills attained and ensure accountability.

So, how can this benefit your organisation? It all depends on how much you are willing to put into the process. The degree of change is directly related to the amount of feedback given and to the level of support that is provided. 360 degree feedback can be a very potent tool to engender the feedback required to make those changes in your organisation. - 18099

About the Author:

Theo Benmanson has been developing personnel for that last 15 years. Team leaders need to make every effort to make certain that the conversion process is not hampered by any unnecessary reasons. If expected benefits of the project are to be realized, then the Six Sigma implementation must be seamless.

The Six Sigma implementation must have a clear, realistic and achievable plan in order to be successful. A well laid out plan is crucial and will be a benefit to everyone in the company. Part of the strategy of the plan should assure that the daily functioning of the business is not impeded by the members' participation. They should not have an extra encumbrance added to their duties. One of the most challenging risks is staff resistance to the Six Sigma implementation. A successful plan will help avoid any kind of problem that should come up.

The availability of resources to the team is a requirement that should not be overlooked. Both material and human resources are key to the program's success. If the resources are not provided and available in a timely manner, then the morale of the team could be affected negatively, causing the Six Sigma project to go off schedule. Smaller companies will be more likely to have resources ready at hand, whereas in larger corporations the gathering and compiling of resources may require more effort. If the Six Sigma implementation is to continue unimpeded, resources must be easily available.

As stated earlier, the plans have to be made well in advance to ensure that the implementation goes on continuously. Similarly, information about the project has to move freely among various team members such as Green Belts, Black Belts and top management as well. This is why the teams need to have proper communication channels and strategies in place - so that the communication is smooth. Communication of the important decisions made is vital, as well as communicating about the project stages that have been reached. Setting up a communication system has to be of top priority.

Communication of the various activities to the employees at various levels of the business has to be done. This is helpful in addressing resistance to change to a large extent. Communication has to reach out to employees, stakeholders and the senior management as well. Six Sigma is beneficial to all sorts of businesses, big or small. The implementation of such projects has to be continuous to ensure that the business starts to work to its fullest possible level. - 18099

About the Author:

Many companies today are seeking to hire graduates of the Six Sigma Training. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. By applying this concept in your business or career you will rocket yourself to success and set yourself apart from the competition.

How To Live The Golden Rule In Business

Sometimes its hard to hold yourself to the Golden Rule standard. Things annoy us, customers can be unreasonable and co-workers can be, well co-workers. It takes a great deal of mental effort to be unemotional about a situation that is not to our liking and consciously hold ourselves to a higher standard. No matter what is going on around us we can always treat the people we deal with in business with respect and understanding.

The customer that yells at you might have a sick relative in the hospital, the co-worker that is curt with you might be going through a divorce, venders that do not get back to you might be exceptionally busy. There are countless reasons that situations arise in the workplace where we feel that someone has slighted us or just not given us the respect we think we deserve.

Regardless of how we are treated, we can always respond to others differently. When someone is yelling, we can talk in a calm manner. When someone is being petty we can take the higher road and not become emotionally involved with the situation. It might be difficult to do at times but by taking a breath before you respond to a situation your results will be better.

Act As If You Are On The Other Side Of the Transaction

You should always put yourself on the other side of a transaction. Think about what would I want if I was in this persons shoes? This goes for customers and all the people you come into contact with at your place of work. This doesnt mean that you need to let people walk all over you. Your concern is that you are being reasonable, respectful and that your customer or co-worker comes away from the interaction satisfied that they were dealt with fairly.

By always thinking about what you would want if you were on the other side of the table, your meetings will go more smoothly and you will be much more effective. If you are a salesman you will sell more because you are thinking of your customers needs and wants instead of your own. Review all your actions and think to yourself is this how I would want to be treated? Try to structure each transaction so that it is a win-win for all involved.

Using The Golden Rule With Competitors

Often overlooked is the relationship that you have with your competitors. Have you ever talked to a salesman that is bashing a competitors product? Does it give you a negative feeling? Bashing others products or work will never help your business. Your focus should always be on the benefits that you can offer your customer. Applying the Golden Rule with your competitors is a necessary aspect of your thinking. Sometimes you might not have the right solution for a customer and your competitor does. If the tables were turned you would want your competitor to refer that customer to you. Making referrals will ultimately help you build trust with your customer and with competitors.

People think that the marketplace is limited and that they have to fight their way to the top in their careers and business. Your success is solely due to the quality of your work or products. The simple answer to competition is to make your product the best it can be. Constantly think to yourself how can I improve this? Real champions of business know the only person they need to compete with is themselves. - 18099

About the Author:

When you change your habits, actions and thoughts, your whole life will change. Competition is fierce, and nowadays landing that dream job is more difficult than ever. If you haven't been on a job interview in recent years, you may be in for a few surprises. Today, it takes a lot more than a good first impression and a strong resume to get you the job. Employers are upping the ante by using a variety of interviewing styles and questions that you may not be expecting. Interviewing styles may range from being rather relaxed to downright intimidating.

If you happen upon a potential employer who's chosen the intimidating interview style, be prepared. Know that it's not personal. It's simply a means for the employer to determine how you will react to stressful situations, handle hostile communications, and how well you might work under pressure. Expect interview questions to be more challenging. Employers are likely to want to know more than just what duties your last job entailed. Many employers today are conducting behavioral interviews. They ask questions that might range from wanting to know how you dealt with a difficult supervisor or coworker at your last job, to describing an exceptionally difficult task and how you handled it.

These questions are simple in hindsight, but can prove to be disastrous if you're not prepared. For instance, what if you didn't have any problems working with the people at your last job? Or, what if you didn't feel that you had any tasks that you weren't able to handle easily? Then, they'll want to know how you would've handled it if you did. So the key to making it through your next interview successfully is to prepare, prepare, and prepare!

If you want to prepare, you may do an internet search for the term "job interview questions", and then study the results. The information out there is plentiful and should be able to give you access to current questions on the minds of employers. Be sure to allow yourself ample time to prepare, maybe even a few days. Being the last one interviewed is always an advantage.

The advantage of being last is because you and your answers are still fresh in the mind of the interviewer. When they make their final decision, they'll be thinking of you. Remember, no matter how grueling the interview process has been for you, they have likely had to do it several times just for one position. They want the process over too, and if you seem prepared and confident, you'll be ahead of the pack when it comes to landing the job. - 18099

About the Author:

If you are facing a pending interview and want to enhance your job skills, visit www.SixSigmaOnline.org to find out how Six Sigma training can help. This concept is so simple and elementary yet many of us fail to do it.

To truly live this way you need to apply it in every aspect of your life: from the person who cuts you off in traffic to the people you kiss goodnight. Frankly in the hustle and bustle of everyday life this isn't easy. Its much simpler to react and say something unkind than to pause and think about how you can help or improve the other person's life for the better.

But when we stop, pause and think about how our interactions will affect another person, we can truly put this principle into action in our lives. This simple thought process can cause a dramatic change in your life and in your everyday dealings with others.

The most important time to apply this is when you are in a difficult situation or a highly emotional one. This is also the time when it will be the hardest to think about how to improve that other person's life. Sometimes the smallest actions like smiling or simply saying thank you will improve a situation for the better.

We all know people who make us feel warm and happy to see them. They seem to naturally exude a spirit which draws people to them and makes others feel at ease. That easy interaction comes from the same thought process as leaving others with an impression of increase. With these individuals however, this is the way they live and they do not have to consciously think about their actions, it is ingrained in their being.

When we apply this principle to our business lives it makes a world of difference. We have all gone into a store and had a salesperson be rude to us and then vowed to never go back to that store again. Our decision was based solely on the actions of one individual. Not on the quality of merchandise, or how much we liked the store, just on that one person.

Conversely we have been in stores where we are treated like royalty and they capture our repeat business over and over again. The actions of a few people determine the nature of our thoughts about whether we will continue to do business with that entity or not.

By training your employees or yourself to make sure that each person you do business with feels like you have contributed positively to their life you will increase your business exponentially. Your customers and co-workers will become walking billboards on your behalf.

I encourage you to read the chapter on "An Impression of Increase" from Wallace Wattles book "The Science of Getting Rich. - 18099

About the Author:

When you change your habits, actions and attitudes, your whole life will change. There are thousands of people who sit down at their desks in their homes, with just a computer and make a living online. In fact, it is becoming common rather than uncommon and many businesses have started to offer the ability to telecommute from home. Many companies are starting to take their business online and that means more profits in some cases more than they can make offline.

There are all types of internet workers, some only work to make a little money while others apply themselves and make thousands a month or even more. Many work online until they have enough income to quit their day jobs and others are content with a little extra spending money. There are also people out there making millions online.

Thanks to the increased access to not only technology such as computer but also the internet, more and more people have taken the opportunity to become a home work. In fact, a computer and the internet have become standards in most homes. This has made it possible for there to be an increase in the opportunities that are available to home workers.

The ways a person can make money on internet are many and growing. You can sell your own products, sell someone else's products, find a niche you like and build on that, or perform a service for a person or company and get paid for it. You can also write your own blog and place advertisements on it to get an income.

There are limitless opportunities to make money on internet. The important thing is finding the right method and protecting yourself against fraud, scams and places that seek to earn money by taking you for a ride. The internet can be a risky place to do business if you are not careful and take the time to research each of the opportunities you are interested in.

To get started making money online you will need a computer, an internet connection, a small amount of time to set aside for working, and the right plan of action. It is not a good idea to jump into making money on the internet without some guidance. Find a good source for information about working online and you will reach your goals much quicker.

There is a great deal of appeal in working online. This is primarily the drive to be able to be your own boss, where what you want and work when you want. You do not have to answer to anyone and you are accountable only to yourself. You have the ability to spend time with your family, you save on transportation costs and you are not limited by a salary cap. - 18099

About the Author:

Dave Richard has the best information for you and he knows exactly what you need to do. You can go to a maid agency in Hong Kong to ensure that you will get someone who is skilled enough. When you do this, finding the right person to fill in the position will be much easier for you. They will take care of the more complicated parts of hiring so that too much effort from you will not be required. Here are some factors to consider when you're on the lookout for an agency to get your maid from:

Make sure that the company will provide free replacement just in case the maid you hired has to leave your home before she can even complete one year of service. They should also do this if you would not like the service of the housemaid that you just hired and decided to return her to them.

Do not go for a type of agency that will require you to use the maid for at least 30 days before you can return her if in case you will not like her service. If you cannot tolerate the housemaid anymore, they should be willing to send a replacement even if you used her for just a few days after she was hired.

Make sure that the company is operating legally. You can look for their credentials, such as permits and certifications to know if they are accredited by the law. You can also verify their legitimacy to ensure that you are dealing with the right agency.

Avoid agencies that will require you to pay for the food and lodging fees of the maid. You only need to pay for her levy until the time that she moves to another employer.

Compare agency rates before closing a deal with any of them. The fees should be reasonable. There is no need to pay for higher fees when you can avail the services of an agency that can provide quality maids for a lower cost.

A good maid cleaning agency can present an excellent system of picking up the right housemaid who will fit into your home. They should be able to know who among their workers is recommendable for you. They should also have the profiles of high quality housemaids for you to choose from.

A maid agency cannot promise that you will get the perfect maid in Hong Kong. It is the home of our intellectual factors that include: reason, intuition, imagination, perception, memory and the will. When we use the subconscious mind correctly, we can create anything that is in harmony with natural universal law.

The subconscious mind is completely deductive in nature, unlike the conscious mind, which is both inductive and deductive. The subconscious mind will believe anything that is impressed upon it with emotion in a consistent manner. It will even believe a lie if it is repeated often enough. Understanding this concept represents the first step in taking control of your subconscious mind so you can pursue your dreams.

The next step to effectively use your subconscious mind is to know exactly what you want and why you want it. This process of conceptualization and clarification is critical, because the subconscious mind only gets involved when it is sure you mean business! Being serious about a goal prompts an emotional response inside you. It is when emotion mixes with clarity that the subconscious mind can act on your desires. Answer these critical thinking questions:

Do you really know what you want? Can you see it clearly in your mind down to the smallest detail? Have you written it down in a clear and concise manner? Do you know why you want it? Do you believe you can obtain it? Are you willing to do whatever it takes legally and ethically to cause the manifestation of the goal?

To move forward you must be able to answer the above questions with a resounding YES! Next you want to clearly see on the screen of your mind your objective. You must begin the process of associating deeper emotions with the objective. Deep emotions can be created through using your five senses and the process of autosuggestion.

Let me give you an example of how this works: Lets suppose you want a new car. You must see the car, feel the car, drive the car, listen to the stereo, touch the soft leather and enjoy your favorite beverage while in the car to create an emotionalized memory. You might even want to rent the car so that you can actually feel the experience of driving it and really fix in your mind what it would be like to own it.

An emotionalized memory will last for a period of time as you go about your daily business. To enhance and feed your mind more emotional fuel, it is wise to take pictures, video and record your thoughts about the experience so that you can strengthen your emotionalized memory of the experience. Daily, spend time impressing these thoughts and feelings upon your subconscious mind including, what you want and why you want it. Do this with a loud confident voice as you relive the newly created memory.

By following this process, you will take your burning desire and turn it into a white hot burning desire as Napoleon Hill likes to say. This white hot burning desire together with your subconscious mind will increase your awareness for people and things that can help you move in the direction of your dreams. I have used this technique for 20+ years and it works like clockwork. Give it a try today! - 18099

About the Author:

When you change your habits, actions and thoughts, your whole life will change. If you suddenly find yourself in the job market, your same old style of resume likely won't get you the attention you deserve nowadays. Today's resumes are trending toward a fresher, more progressive tone. Since studies show that you only have less than 30 seconds for your resume to communicate its message, it is important that you make sure your resume is to the point. Use monetary gains and savings to accentuate the positive, and play down age.

Value proposition is a catch phrase being tossed around nowadays. Businesses have been using it for years to sell their stuff. Savvy job hunters now know they need to incorporate it into their resumes to help them sell themselves. A value proposition in your resume essentially describes the tangible results a company can expect to receive from you. And, by tangible, companies want to see dollar signs. This may be in the form of decreased operational costs ~ some money-saving ideas you may have implemented, or a step you may have taken to improve customer retention.

Another change that's come about is replacing the standard one-line objective statement with a resume summary placed strategically near the top of the resume. This detailed paragraph takes an "in your face" approach to expressing your value and goals to the potential employer in terms of how you can help them to increase their revenue or cut their expenses.

Yet another trend is downplaying your age, while playing up your experience. It's a well-known fact that in spite of age discrimination laws, sometimes 40-somethings and up aren't given the opportunities they deserve. There's a good chance that your old-fashioned resume may be making you out to be a member of the over-the-hill gang. Potential employers are probably not discriminating on purpose. It's just that if you have a 30-something office manager who's thinking about hiring a supervisor who'll be working for him, he's probably going to shy away from hiring anyone he subconsciously considers to be "old".

One way to overcome that is to strategically omit the date you graduated. Don't include every job for the last generation, just highlight the ones you've held over the last several years. Be aware of the tone and the words you use, as they will play a role in capturing an employer's attention. Likely the best way to communicate value is to keep your technical skills updated to current levels. If there are certain courses that employers are looking for, then you would be well served to get certified in them. Highlight your achievements and skip the mundane details, and you'll be more likely to get a call and an interview. - 18099

About the Author:

Craig Calvin is a studied author on the value of Six Sigma in the business world. If you use a computer, then you're using software. It may be the online hotel reservation system you use when planning trips or the navigation system in your car or even the bells and whistles in your cell phone. These are all driven by software and software sometimes has bugs that need to be fixed. An ideal situation would be to avoid them in the beginning, and that is exactly what Six Sigma methodology helps software developers to do.

For instance, a software bug in a program like a restaurant waiter's terminal could manifest itself in different ways. It could assign the food to the wrong group of guests, or cause the kitchen to get an incorrect order, or even miscalculate the bill total or the taxes under certain circumstances. One could imagine the dire results of such software bugs.

Generally speaking, there are two types of software bugs - programming bugs and data bugs. Programming bugs are more difficult to discover because they are usually of the logical error type. The program will need to be modified and the code recompiled before it can be used again. Data bugs are more easy discovered and isolated, as they mainly occur because of errors in tables.

Employing Six Sigma culture into the software development process can help overcome these errors by mistake proofing. Various controls can be used to proof data bugs. If there were certain minimum charges or parameters for a specific reason, then any value below the minimum would be an error. Putting a control mechanism in place at this stage helps to minimize the bugs. Using Six Sigma can be invaluable for software development projects.

Six Sigma discipline is data driven, and generally software projects are begun after collecting data pertaining to the problem area. Using the Six Sigma technique for collecting information, the organization can be ensured that the data is as correct as it can possibly be. Then when developing the program, the areas containing the data collected can be eliminated as problems and used for mistake proofing the program. By the time the program reaches the testing stage, these areas can be isolated and modifications can be made. Six Sigma methodology can help minimize losses from bugs to a large extent. - 18099

About the Author:

If you're searching for a job, consider that studies have shown that employers pay up to $15,000 more for those with Six sigma green belt training. We all have a finite amount of time and it`s often better to outsource things like payroll and risk management policies. Of course, human resources is the best way to go for this type of outsourcing, since it tends to be of a rather delicate nature and you don`t want just anyone going over employee information in order to do the payroll.

It can take time and a lot of energy to implement new human resource technologies that businesses need. Most business owners find that it is far more efficient to hire someone to get everything up and running. It may be temporary, but the time and effort saved will be of great benefit to the busy business owner.

Anyone can come up with employee benefits and packages, but you are quite likely to miss something if you don`t have experience in the area and attempt it on your own. This is where an HR consult can be very useful.

Your human resources representative has plenty of experience in the area of creating benefits packages and the like. By having a consult done, you`ll save a lot of time and effort and you can be sure that you are doing the best for your employees. Happy employees mean loyal employees and if you give them a good reason to stay loyal, you can avoid the turnaround that too many businesses are experiencing these days. This isn`t a good area to start experimenting with on your own, however, at least not if you want results.

Benefits of Consult Over Full Time

If your business is working on a tight budget, you probably don`t have the money to hire a full time human resources director. Opting to hire a consultant will give you similar benefits without the expense, since the HR consultant will come in and advise you once. You can then implement the suggestions made, without ongoing expense.

This method of using human resource experts is preferred by many, but you do lose the chance to be flexible, since you won`t be adapting to any changes within the workplace that could have a dynamic effect on employee benefits. However, considering the cost of hiring a full time HR expert, most businesses find that it is sufficient to bring in a human resources consultant from time to time to maintain their technology and techniques up to date.

Outsourcing human resourcing is a very good way to keep your business running well without the added expense of another employee, something that most companies simply cannot afford yet. A human resources consultation is particularly useful for any business undergoing growth.

Whenever new employees will be coming into the company, it`s a good idea to have everything in place ahead of time. This includes risk management factors to keep everyone safe and sound on the job, as well as implementing new methods of dealing with the larger payroll.

Whether you plan to hire a full time HR director or just bring someone in for the time being to get everything straightened out once and for all, this is a good move for any business. The benefits are many and your business will end up running far better because of it. - 18099

About the Author:

HR consulting agency provides professional business and HR services to assist organizations with their efforts to improve performance, productivity, and profitability.

Are you a person who gives up quickly on goals? Successful people all around the world have one very critical trait in common: an iron clad will to achieve their objectives. How persistent is your will? Do you often give up or are you someone who persists until you have what you want.

How do most people set goals?

Most people set goals based on what they think they can do or what they know they can do but not on what they really want. This is very unfortunate because it promotes the status quo with very limited growth. Real growth occurs when you step outside of your comfort zone and live on the edge.

Why do most people give up on their goals and dreams?

Most people give up on their goals and their dreams because they either 1) are fearful that they will see a setback, or 2) do experience a minor setback and decide to give up because it's too difficult. Is anything really worth while in life very easy to get? Think about the relationships you have in your life with family, friends and your significant other. These relationships require work. The business that you have or the employer that you work with requires effort on your part to sustain it and to grow your position. Anything that comes too easily, frequently is also easily lost. If you don't believe me take a look at the statistics of people who win the lottery. Within a couple years they have lost every thing they have won. Anything you have not earned you have not earned the right to keep.

Do you really want "it"?

Many people give up on their goals and dreams because they don't really want them. If an individual has not become emotionally involved in acquiring a goal that they seek, there is a very high possibility that they will give up. Ask yourself what are some of your New Year's resolutions from past years. Did you complete all of them? If not why? I'm willing to bet you were not emotionally involved in those resolutions and therefore they did not stick.

How can I improve the intellectual factor of the will?

The will, like all other intellectual factors, can be improved with conscious awareness. Learning to be in control of your thoughts and then focus on one thing at a time is the skill set needed. One way to do this is to buy a candle and light it on the opposite side of the room from you. Focus on the candle and only the candle. Your mind will drift and think about different things such as your job and preparing lunches for the kids. Bring your mind back and focus on the candle. The longer you can focus on the candle and the flame without allowing your mind to drift the better your "will" will become. Once you learn to master this task you can focus your will on anything.

Will this really work?

Let me be honest with you, take a look at your life in terms of your happiness, health, and wealth. Is there room for improvement? It doesn't matter how happy, healthy or wealthy you are there is always room for improvement. Now ask yourself how focused are you and how strong your will is? If you continue to do everything you have always done I promise you'll get more of the same. The candle technique was explained to me personally by Bob Proctor who is a very well recognized authority in the personal development industry.

The use of the will is one of the gifts few of us truly understand that helps us achieve real success in life. I want to suggest that you take the concepts contained in this article very seriously and become hyper aware of how you use your will and the results that you get in life. If you want to see big improvements make sure that 1) you really want your goal 2) you become emotionally involved with your goal 3) and you never give up. - 18099

About the Author:

When you change your habits, actions and thoughts, your whole life will change. The entire organization must be a part of the routine set forth during Six Sigma implementation. And the leadership has to be vigilant in patrolling the ongoing success of the project. Usually in the early stages of the project, a close eye is paid to the project areas to ensure everything is going forward correctly. At that stage, any failure is corrected right away.

A major indicator of reduction of support for the project may manifest itself in the form of leaders who no longer show commitment. When highly trained Black Belts have a hard time recruiting people for new responsibilities, the problem, by then, is usually apparent. Six Sigma success requires qualified employees in various roles, and when those roles are given to staff who lack appropriate skills, then the leaders should accept that erosion of the project has begun and support for the Six Sigma projects is lacking.

It is important for project leaders to stay on top of their projects. When the preset goals for a project lose their impact by becoming modest, and the achievement falls below what is expected, the project can be determined to be on a quick road to failure. Project deadlines must be met or leaders will be faced with dealing with the problems down the road.

When the Six Sigma team starts to show signs of exclusivity and calls for a separate group, it takes away the enthusiasm of others in their activity. Additionally, if the teams do not coordinate their activities and undertake local level projects without due consideration to the related factors concerning other teams, then the project is bound to fail. When the project is carried out in the old ways of doing things, then it becomes a setback for the project. When projects are selected based on cost-cutting criteria, and are not checked with their relevance to the customer, the Six Sigma initiative is bound to go haywire. If the Black Belts involve themselves in quick wins that do not require their skills, such initiatives may not succeed.

Black Belts should not involve themselves in quick wins which don't use their skills. That erosion their responsibilities should raise a red flag. They should set reasonable challenges for themselves and strive to achieve those goals. Their loss of interest, or the short cutting of measures for the sake of short term success is a sure sign that Six Sigma is on a road to failure. That is the time for the leaders to step in and elevate interest to ensure the project's goals are achieved. - 18099

About the Author:

Studies have shown that the Six Sigma Black Belt certification can add $15,000 or more to your income. The good news is that the much awaited Bahamas work permit has finally been approved.

One of the filipina domestic helper working in Hong Kong who applied for the live-in maid position is now very excited to work in Bahamas after receiving the work permit and air ticket from her Bahamas employer. "Don't easily give up amidst trial, grab every job opportunity for your family's future and apply through a reliable agency like World Champ International Employment Agency", Lorena says.

During the application process in Bahamas, the employer is required to post an advertisement in local newspaper. An important part of the requirement is to show that there is no suitable Bahamian candidate for the live-in maid position. The processing of Bahamas work permit took approximately 2-3 months from the time the job offer was confirmed. For the live-in maid category, the employer paid an annual fee of $650 for the work permit.

The size of the Bahamas work permit is approximately 5 inches x 7.75 inches, light yellow green in color and got one year validity from date of issue. The top of the work permit read as "Permit to engage in gainful occupation". Information such as job position, employer's name, employer's residence address, live-in maid's name as well as the applicant's photo can also be found in the work permit.

Those who are planning to enter through USA enroute to Bahamas is required to apply for a transit visa. The procedure and requirements is actually the same as US non-immigrant visa application. Inorder to avoid the transit visa problem, some Bahamas employer has to face the fact of buying a more expensive ticket from HK via London enroute to Bahamas.

Indeed the power of internet marketing cannot be underestimated. This is valuable information. A very basic Cisco Router guide for anyone out there that wants to get their feet wet with the Cisco Router. Click here now!

Do you want to learn the Cisco Router but don't know where to start? Are you confused as to how to configure your Cisco Router? Do you have limited time and need to learn the Cisco Router quickly? If you answered yes to any of these questions, now is your chance to get immediate access to a Cisco Router Basics Tutorial.

"Why would you want to learn the Cisco router? I'll tell you what happened to me... I went from making $8.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour just by getting some basic Cisco Router knowledge!!

Actually, I got pretty lucky... Let me take you back to the early 90's. I had been doing very basic desktop support and some light Windows NT Administration and one day the main Network Engineer of the company I worked for got in a fight with the boss and he walked out!

My boss was desperate yet he knew that I had interest in learning Cisco Routers so he sent me to a 5 day Introduction to Cisco Routers course. I am so glad this company was willing to drop $2000 for this course, but I admit that is a HUGE price tag to learn the fundamentals of the Cisco Router. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't complaining.

$30.00 per hour in the early to mid 90's was a great starting point. But I didn't stop there... I kept learning and growing and ultimately started my own IT Consulting company and now charge at least $100 per hour for Cisco Router consulting.

The main point I want to make is this, not everyone has opporunities fall in their lap for a company to drop $2000 for a basic Cisco Router course. I realize that. So what I decided to do was put together the absolute fundamentals that any person needing to learn the Cisco Router needs into one easy to read package at a very affordable price.

Knowledge is power! The choice is yours on what you do with valuable information as it becomes available to you. This, my friend, is valuable information!

Another point I want to make and I'll be very blunt and upfront about it is that Network Engineers with Cisco Router experience make good money! Click here now!

I enjoy helping people grow and learn. I wrote another ebook called PIX/ASA Firewall Keys which has helped catapult many people into greater understanding of the PIX Firewall, and with that comes greater income.

One of the things I kept hearing from those who read PIX/ASA Firewall Keys was the request to come up with a very basic guide to the Cisco Router, taught in the same down to earth style. So here it is!

This tutorial is going to teach you the very foundation that you will need to know to make it with the Cisco Router. Once you understand and grasp these concepts you can go on to more advanced routing tutorials.

Of all the comments I get from the readers of my tutorials and ebooks there is one common thing that stands out and this is one that I take great pride in - it is that I break down these concepts in a very simple, down to earth and straightforward way."
