Our New Home and Finally We Found One

It is time nowadays to buy a real estate since the value is down and for selling is bad. Anyway, we bought a house which we liked most! I am glad that we bought a house so that I could do whatever I want with it like decorating it and I can have gardens. We are going to be in our house the end of this month and I am excited to be there but before we will be in our house, we make it sure it is clean or everything is fine so that there is no hassle for us. The house that we bought is a ranch style about 1,700 something sqft. but not included the backyard as it has a big lot. It is not really a big house but is enough for 2 of us. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bath and 1/2 bath and the basement is huge which we can do whatever we want and almost as big as the house. The house is walking distance from the lake and by the pier which is a plus and located in a prestige neighborhood. It has feature of attached garage and it has really big backyard which we can even build a small house there if we want and we can play badminton, volleyball and we can have a huge trampoline or we could put a hammock between the trees. The house has been renovated and kind of look new inside and meticulously maintained. You can see the pictures here that I've attached is our new home but the furniture's are not included.

Treadmills

My husband and I planned for a while to buy a treadmill, we did not buy one while we were living in Florida since we just have a small space in our condo but since we moved here somewhere suburb of Detroit, we are going to buy soon. Huge Portion of Food

Yesterday my husband and I heading back here in suburb in Detroit from vacation homes of my in laws and we planned to stop by in Frankenmuth where we can have our early dinner but while driving were caught in bad traffic and we decided to straight back home. After an hour we stopped by for gas and we found a restaurant called "Tony's Restaurant" which is just by the gas station and since my husband noticed there are a lot of cars outside and he thought it's a nice plate to eat and we decided to find out and eat down there. We were amazed the restaurant was crowded and found out they served huge portion of food. I was amazed w/ the foods that we ordered are really huge, it was more than what we order from other restaurants and we end up requesting box to go for the leftover we had. The leftover which is good for 2-3 meal for me. You can see the pictures of the pasta that I had, super huge! I was hungry that time but I just ate little bit and I had lots of leftover!

Garage Sales

My husband and I went on garage sales, it was my husbands 1st time and we had fun. We bought several stuff like books, small cabinets that we can use for our new home. I bought one of my favorite designer handbag, and I bought some antique figurine. The main purpose that we went in garage sale is to buy a bicycle for myself but we haven't found one which I liked, we found one but it was for small girl but it doesn't fit for me, I hope we can find one next time which I like and I prefer used bike, because I had a new bike before but I end up giving it to somebody else. Anyway, one time when I went to garage sale and that was Friday morning, I paid about $90 bucks just antique figurines, vases and plates, they will be added to my antique collections and it was my 1st time and I am lucky that I found antiques that I liked. Garage sales is fun to look something that you like or you need for your home and save some bucks than new items.

Mayfly or Fishfly

Yesterday afternoon, my husband and I went to the pier park and there were tons of fishfly which are kind of annoying but they will be gone for about 2-3 days. I haven't seen a lot of mayfly before and I was amazed watching the fishflies and they are look funny since they seems keep bouncing while flying. Cold Summer

Thanks to God we are finally now here in Michigan and we are safe driving for about 18 hours from Florida to here. I am grateful that we are living in a nice neighborhood which makes me feel safe and we are surrounded by friends and family. We are now in MI and we are experiencing cold summer and I thought it will be a warm summer since I just packed few denim pants and mostly what I've packed are summer clothes and I did not bring a nice jacket and I am even planning to shop at "Ann Taylor Loft" soon. I have heard that this cool summer is unusual, you know I really expected will be warm this summer but its not but I'll be okay as long as I will wear warm clothes at night when I am outside the house. If your aircon this summer doesn't work, you do not need to turn it on. It feels good when you are outside as you doesn't feel grumpy due to hotness unlike in Florida it's really warm there now which you cannot stand for a long time under the sun or else you'll burn (grin :=)). I'm loving here now in Michigan where we live since we live in a nice area and we have a cool and refreshing summer!

My husband and I been experienced cruising which we enjoyed and we did cruising for about 5 times and we never had a time that we feel get bored being on the ship as there are a lot to do and when we arrive to our destination it is exciting as we can visit the place that we haven't been before and explore the place. And we wanted to do cruising again and one of these days we could visit different countries in Europe through cruising and speaking makes me excited about it. It is my dream to visit various countries in Europe and cruising would be a great opportunity to avoid hassles in the airports. Saving money for electricity bills which is great and that is why when I do not use lights in our kitchen especially there are some light bulbs in the kitchen, I try to turn them off at least we can save money and minimizing using energy. I live here in Florida for over 4 years and soon we are moving to other state which does snow. I feel a little bit worried about it, because if I go to work and it snowy outside and it would be dangerous to drive and I must learn the tricky way on how to drive in the snow. Speaking of snow, the 1st time I saw snow falling down from the sky, I said to myself "it is a miracle," it is funny huh? Anyhow, I put the title here "life will change and never be the same," because it will big change for me from a tropical climate to a cold climate and will be new neighbor, new environment and everything is new to me but it seems kind of adventurous or interesting to me but I am excited to our move and I will be happy to have a house so that I can do gardening and it would be fun.

Last week, I did shop 3 times in the mall and I bought summer clothes like shorts, sleeveless, flip flops, and I bought also jewelry like sterling silver but the stuff that I bought are on sale. I went 2 dept. stores such as Macy's and Sears, I bought about 8 summer clothes in Sears and bought the 2 jewelry in Macy's which was 65% off which was a good deal than paying full price. You know once I started to go shopping, I wanted to go back again and again which makes me obsessed and soon we will live in a state which the mall about 45 mins. from our house and that is not fun at all as I do not like to drive for 45 mins. and perhaps I could just shop online but I am done for now shopping for summer clothes and I better be take it easy.

My husband yesterday told me that we are going to eat somewhere in Gulfport today and I agreed since we will be together with our friends. So, we went there our dinner today and my husband and I our 1st time there. My review about the restaurant is that, I loved being there since its by the ocean, it's breezy and relaxing being there. It doesn't blow me away but I liked the restaurant. I guess it is pretty popular since there are people there having a good time. The food they have are served hot which is a bonus since the food should serve that way in any restaurant and the service is great. I definitely love to go back there again and I recommend it. I received a coupon card one time from victoria secret and I went yesterday as I wanted to shop in there as I thought they still offer 10 lingerie for just $25 but by the time I asked the lady, she told me they are out what I am looking for. I was annoyed since I just went to the mall to purchase in victoria secret and get some discount the coupon that they have sent to me but it was useless since they are out of the product as yesterday was the last day but how I wish I did shop before yesterday so that I could get what they offered. Anyway, I end up shopping in different store which I bought few summer clothes and I have fun yesterday since I found great sale junior sizes at sears dept. store.

2 Days in Universal Studio

Few days ago, my husband and I went to Orlando and we spent our 4th anniversary there which was quite fun. We stayed in "Hard Rock Hotel" which was good since we do not need to wait a long line when we wanted to ride some rides in Universal like the "MIB" ride, the "Revenge of the Mummy" and much more! The hotel key that we had considered as fast pass or express card so that we can cut the long line. It was a great deal than waiting for about hour for the ride. We decided spending our anniv. there since my husband received a Universal studio free ticket for himself and we saved some money instead of paying for me and for himself. We had a blast spending our 4th anniv., I had a stomachache on that day but I handled it since I would like to have some fun during our anniv. I guess it would be the last vacation we had in Orlando as we are moving in MI next month and I am pretty sure I will missed all the fun we have here in Florida but I hope one of these days we will go back in Orlando to have fun again.
