I caught the flu a few days. Since the boyf will be flying off soon, I knew I must not go near him. Any infection could have gotten him quarantined in a foreign hospital, no thanks to the global fear of H1N1.

I couldn’t get my hugs, cuddles & touch. It was a killer.

Going back to Melaka tomorrow and dreading the 4.5 hour bus ride. On the upside, the boyf will be coming over to visit next week. Looking forward to capturing him alone in my small town. Some consolation…

Lunch with the boyf’s elder sis

I went for lunch with Kay today. We met at Orchard Road and if you know me, I never go to Orchard Road unless there is an important occasion to warrant it. I’m happy enough to stay busy in the East. Well, this is a special occasion as we wanted to celebrate her birthday belatedly.

We ate a lot and talked a lot at a secluded corner at Cedele, Wheelock Plaza. The food is scrumptious and I was surprised at how easy it is to chat. I haven’t hung out with Kay in a long time, the last time was two years ago. I really enjoyed her stories about her colleague’s very talkative 7-year-old son. We both left with a big smiles.

CNN News - Rapper T.I gave a farewell concert before heading to prison. I am sure that for the next few years, T.I will keep replaying the concert in his mind. What do you replay in your mind? What do you constantly dream and daydream about? I daydream of a wedding all the time.

Stuck in a Rut

For years, I have been swinging in and out of bouts of depression and I think I’m beginning to understand why - we are all on a journey but I have liked being where I am too much. A depression is like a slight hole or ditch in the ground. A wheel can easily get stuck in a depression which makes the horse unable to keep trotting forward and pulling the cart along. To get out of the depression, I must want to get unstuck in the first place.

Lord Jesus, son of God, please renew my mind, would you, God?
