The new Toshiba TG01 smartphone is truly just for you guys who simply love super-slim, super-sexy, pieces of advanced technology. Powered by the Snapdragon chipset, the TG01 is one fast devil at 1Ghz clock speeds, with a fantastic 256NV RAM and a stunning 4.1 WVGA touchscreen display. Other specs of this drop-dead gorgeous babe include WiFi, 3.2MP camera, GPS and 3G data connectivity. All this powerful stuff packed into a device that’s merely 10mm thick! Can you beat that?

This phone actually featured during the MWC at Barcelona in February this year and we’ve been waiting to hear more about it since then. While those in the US will have to wait a little more for the Toshiba TG01, the UK is far luckier, coz it’ll be getting this Windows Mobile 6.1 run smartphone just next week.

London will see a lot of interesting activity on this front on July 9. Maybe this company will stage a summer launch of this ultra-thin stunner then. Let’s wait and watch for this one. For now, drool away at the hands-on video of the Toshiba TG01 smartphone that follows.

If you had been one of the early birds who wisely pre-ordered your myTouch 3G smartphone from T-Mobile, the device will most probably reach you by August 3. At least, the picture below seems to indicate that.

In case you missed it earlier, there is going to be a press event slated for July 8 in New York, USA, where this wonderful handheld would be formally announced. Pre-orders from existing customers will be available at that time. The latest rumors seem to point to general availability of the myTouch 3G on August 5, but there’s no confirmation yet, so we will have to wait a while more to know for sure.

T-Mobile has today launched a new option for its Family Booster plan that makes it easier and cheaper for members of a family to call and text each other. This option gives five family members unlimited calls, texts and picture messaging to each other. One of the members has to pay a mere £5 per month, over and above their usual monthly plan, and this option will be instantly open to them. This gives users the best ever family plan so far.

This plan gives users a one-month rolling contract, so they do not have to sign up for long-term commitments either. The user in this case could be part of any T-Mobile price plan or could even choose the pay-as-you-go option. This plan is easy to set up and you can even change your list of free family members each month.

The pay-as-you-go credit can be additionally used for calls, texts and MMS, thereby reducing bills further.

AT&T has today announced the BlueAnt Q1 Blutetooth Headset with Multicontrol, which includes the Voice Control feature. This headset will be available online from July19, at www.wireless.att.com. This premium noise-cancelling headset will let users many controls, with merely voice commands. This eliminates the need for users to memorize button combinations, which otherwise becomes mandatory with other such headsets.

BlueAnt’s advanced Voice Isolation Technology software also gives clear calling quality by making the user’s sound stand out above external noise. This results in echo cancellation and wind noise reduction as well. Users can also manage calls from two phones at one and the same time, thanks to multipoint technology. The headset comes in gunmetal and is designed to fit all ear shapes and sizes.

The BlueAnt will be available for $129.9. Click here to know more about the BlueAnt Q1.

Take a look at the pic below. What do you think of it? Pretty strange-looking object, right? Well, this one’s a phone from Nokia, which has recently gotten FCC documentation.

The Nokia RM-599, as it is called now, has WCDMA on Bands II and V, which seem to be for use on the North American 3G network. Considering the ID label here, we think we might be actually looking at the Mako for AT&T. This, of course, means that the phone has managed to clear some of the initial hurdles. We still have no idea as to what AT&T is doing with it at the moment, but we get the feeling we’ll see the release of this one sooner or later.

RIM has finally brought the BlackBerry Bold told to South Korea, with a little help from SK Telecom. A localized version of the BlackBerry Bold smartphone will be available here, starting this week. The region had almost banned all foreign handsets being promoted by local carriers, but now it’s all over.

Of course, the local faves are still undoubtedly LG, Pantech and Samsung. So we are not yet sure about how well a device with an English QWERTY keyboard might fare out here. But then it’s always good to have some more competition, right, folks?

With the help of the hybrid app, users can use Yahoo! Messenger specific emoticons, change avatars, set status messages and even save conversations, just like on their PCs. Those interested to use this app will need Ovi and Yahoo! Accounts to use this on the new E75 messaging software.

The latest rumor in mobile world is that Sprint is at present testing two different Android-run smartphones, which may be launched sometime in the year 2010. If the rumor mill is to be believed, one of these smartphones is the HTC Hero. This is believed to launch in December 2009 itself. Some of you might recall that HTC had announced the Hero earlier during this week, with a custom-built UI that we haven’t seen in any Android-powered handheld as of now.

The other smartphone Sprint is said to be testing is an unnamed Samsung Android device. This particular phone supposedly supports both CDMA and WiMAX networks. This is expected to be released only in 2010. Well, we are already dying to find out more. We are sure you must be too….

Sony Ericsson is highly promoting its Cyber-shot phone brands a lot these days. But it’s not only Cyber-shot the company is focusing on. In fact, you have several lovely mobile phones in the regular range as well. The latest is T715, a slider phone with a 3.2MP with “photo light”, sun-viewable 2.2” QVGA display and 3G, all in a very stylishly packed shell. SE claims that this phone would be only the size of a credit card when shut. The phone will launch in Galaxy Silver and Rouge Pink colors.

Sony Ericsson has additionally introduced the VH310 Bluetooth headset, which is now available in black and silver colors, with three earpieces and two loops for that perfect fit.

The phone will be launched sometime in Q3 2009, when both international and North American 3G versions will enter the market simultaneously.

We have got some interesting news for you from HTC. HTC is now looking to introduce its new Sense UI, the one that features on its new Hero smartphone, to non-Google branded, Android-powered devices, such as Roger Wireless’ Magic.

Of course, this means that smartphones that run on the “Google” branding, such as the T-Mobile G1 and the latest myTouch 3G will not be included in the bracket. This is because of certain licensing terms that prevent Microsoft Exchange clients running on these phones. Nevertheless, something tells us that it is not going to take much time for some hacker to fiddle with this condition and bypass the restriction soon enough….. What do you guys think?

The current rumor in the mobile market is that Verizon Wireless will be introducing the white Samsung Omnia II very soon. Not only that, some sources also suggest that this will be a Windows phone. It is believed that the Omnia II smartphone, to be available in July this year, will come with Windows Mobile 6.1 initially, after which it will be upgraded to Windows 6.5 later.

Some of you may be aware that the Samsung Omnia II is one of the first smartphone devices to use an AMOLED display, with the usual TouchWiz UI upgraded to TouchWiz 2.0 with 3D cube UI effects in this particular version.

Here we have for you a video demo of the T-Mobile Dash 3G smartphone, that you Dash lovers are just going to adore. We also have a close-up shot of the device, which you can additionally drool over! Though the Dash 3G is based on the HTC S510, there are some basic differences in design. For one, the Dash 3G does not possess the green HTC Inner Circle button on the keyboard. Otherwise, of course, both these models are strikingly similar to one other.

For those of you who are still waiting to order your Palm Pre, do not worry at all. The webOS run smartphone has far more demand than supply, so there are a lot of folks like you out there, who are waiting impatiently to get a feel of the new handheld. In any case, the latest news is that the second shipment of Palm Pre is coming to Best Buy very soon, as soon as around July 8.

If you want to pre-order, you will have to loosen your wallet of $50 for a gift card, which can then be used to purchase your Palm Pre. This is good in many ways, as you need not stand in that long line and wait for hours before you can get your hands on that smooth, shiny thingy.

Just make sure to visit the Best Buy store near you asap and enquire about the pre-order policy and other stuff. You don’t wanna miss it this time round, right?

This service allows for easy, wire-free charging of the devices, by merely placing them on the WildCharger Pad. This is compatible with all iPhone devices, even the latest iPhone 3G S.

The WildCharge Skins fits the device like second skin and when it is placed on the WildCharger Pad, it automatically transfers power to the device, without needing to be connected by wires. Listed as “HERO100”, this device comes with quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dualband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA at 1800/2100 MHz. HTC has announced an event on the coming Wednesday and we expect it will show off this smartphone with its rumoured “Rosie” Android UI herein. We also have our reasons to think that there may be two versions of this device.

We don’t have more details yet and the GCF isn’t talking either, so we will just have to wait for a while for things to get clearer on this front.
