       <title> Five of Swords - </title>
       <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MyDailyTarot/~3/A-MV99XfpNY/five-of-swords-tarot-card.htm</link>
<description>The Five of Swords relates to self interest. At times we may feel we must struggle to survive. After all, if we don't look after ourselves, who will? It is true that we cannot expect anyone else to take care of our needs, but too often this perspective is taken too far. We may act selfishly, adopting a philosophy of 'looking out for number one.' It is worth remembering that love is the greatest force in the world, not scarcity. There are enough resources to take care of all our needs. This fear of scarcity makes it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

<title> The Ace of Cups - In your heart of hearts</title>
       <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MyDailyTarot/~3/dRR6QkPh4U4/ace-of-cups-tarot-card.htm</link>
<description>The Ace of Cups represents the essence of the heart - the deepest emotional and spiritual love within us and the emotional intelligence that knows how to manifest this love. Most of our hearts are blocked with many negative feelings - old hurts, pains, fears, resentments - and we have made this a 'normal' state to be in. But really it should be normal to feel joy. To hold onto the hurts and resentments is anathema to the heart - hence the heart disease that is so prevalent in the western world today.

       <title> Six of Swords - </title>
       <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MyDailyTarot/~3/UxhyT4P_L_4/six-of-swords-tarot-card.htm</link>
<description>The Six of Swords represents a period of transition - a time when we need to pull back or pull out of life temporarily in order to get to a better place on the inside or the outside. At these times we may forget that we have had successes in our lives. All we may see is the depressive state we are currently in. But this card always promises a better future if we can be patient and see it through.

The card reminds us of an 'otherness' of life. Whilst the busy rush of plans are being implemented in the heady whirlwind of life 'out there,' there is a whole other life going on inside us. When we face traumas or breakdowns in life we are reminded of this otherness. We get to feel more closely our spiritual natures, to see how all things change, how so many things are meaningless and how our spiritual nature moves us forward and keeps us safe through all of this.

<title> Five of Wands - Discretion is the better part of valor</title>
       <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MyDailyTarot/~3/Tgs-Ke1k9M8/five-of-wands-tarot-card.htm</link>
<description>The Five of Wands speaks of conflicts, competition and niggling problems that just won't go away. It is difficult to ignore calls to fight and to compete, particularly if we are feeling under threat or if we just love that buzz of adrenalin.

Our need to conquer often comes from a feeling of inferiority and is more the mark of the toddler knocking down its blocks than it is the pursuer of independence and 'rightness' we may think it is. It is also common for us to fight out of fear. We may feel the need to protect old patterns of behaviour or ideals and values which are outdated and ought to be dropped rather than fought for.

       <title> Judgment - Your day will come</title>
       <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MyDailyTarot/~3/Vk7IDiL8k9o/judgment-tarot-card.htm</link>
<description>This card depicts Judgment Day, the final day of reckoning; a day on which good souls are awakened by a trumpet call and finally rewarded for their hard work. We don't, however, have to wait till Doomsday to experience such a life-changing event because we are continually being presented with opportunities to transform ourselves and our lives. The trick is listening out for that trumpet blast and recognizing it when we hear it. And that comes down to good judgment.

       <title> Eight of Swords - </title>
       <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MyDailyTarot/~3/IBf2ZyDjyWQ/eight-of-swords-tarot-card.htm</link>
<description>The Eight of Swords signals lost direction and confusion. It speaks of those times when we suddenly think 'How did I get here? What happened to my life? Where did my dreams go?" At such times we may feel hopeless about our situation. After all, we may have worked incredibly hard to get where we are today and, as the saying goes, we now find the ladder is lying against the wrong wall.

The Eight of Swords is a real wake-up call for us and often a scary one too. Realising the truth of our lives can be daunting, but to not realise it is worse. Thus we are trapped: we need to change things in order to live more authentic lives, but we are aware of what hard work this will be. Our exisiting lifestyles may be trapping us in our inauthentic lives - and to be honest about who we really are may run the risk of great discomfort.

       <title> Knight of Swords - </title>
       <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MyDailyTarot/~3/s8neFou9WeU/knight-of-swords-tarot-card.htm</link>
<description>The Knight of Swords is the card of the rebellious teenager who rails at the world and all its injustice. It represents an aspect of ourselves which doesn't want to let go of our anger and admit that was lies beneath it is a feeling that we are out of control. The card, however, can also be a call to harness this frustration inside us and use it to our advantage. If we can do this, we are in a good position to right some of the wrongs we see in the world.
