<p>I got another interesting e-mail forwarded by my friend.  Read the email first before I tell you what I have found.  Here is the contents:</p>
<p>&#8220;This is not a joke. It came from the New England Journal of Medicine.</p>
<p>Great news for girl watchers: Ogling over women&#8217;s breasts is good for a man&#8217;s health and can add years to his life, medical experts have discovered. According to the New England Journal of Medicine, &#8220;Just 10 minutes of staring at the charms of a well-endowed female is roughly equivalent to a 30-minute aerobics work-out&#8221; declared gerontologist Dr. Karen Weatherby.</p>
<p>Dr. Weatherby and fellow researchers at three hospitals in Frankfurt, Germany, reached the startling conclusion after comparing the health of 200 male outpatients &#8211; half of whom were instructed to look at busty females daily, the other half told to refrain from doing so. The study revealed that after five years, the chest-watchers had lower blood pressure, slower resting pulse rates and fewer instances of coronary artery disease.</p>

We believe that by doing so consistently, the average man can extend his life four to five years.&#8221;</p>
<p>Wow.</p>
<p>After reading the above message, please do not rush out and look for well-endowed girls ans start to stare at their boobs.  When something too good to be true, yes, it probably is.</p>
<p>The first thing I did was to go to <a rel="nofollow" href="http://content.nejm.org/">New England Journal of Medicine</a> as mentioned in the e-mail.  Unfortunately, I was unable to find anything about the article.  Then, I did a search on the medical journal articles in the <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed/">Medline database</a> and saw zero items on this topics authored by the so called Dr Karen Weatherby.</p>

<p><strong>The story looks like an urban legend (if it qualifies to be one)</strong>.  I remembered I saw similar e-mail many years ago, dated back in year 2000, but never bother to do a thorough check.</p>
<p>No doubt, staring big cup of breasts is one of the ultimate man&#8217;s fantasies.  I am sure Pamela Anderson did not know about her contribution to the well being of so many male&#8217;s audience when she did the implant.  Too bad, the e-mail is just another masterpiece by man who is looking for valid reason to ogling at breasts.  <strong>Even if it is true, though one may prolong his life by another 5 years, he probably will be killed earlier by his wife if he keeps staring at other boobs.  So, at the end of the day, he still dies, and much earlier.</strong></p>
<p>Want to extend your life for another 5 years?  Sure.  Go to gym an hour a session and 3 times a week!</p>
