It is a Price Phister old style stem. All home depots and hardware stores have them. It's a well known brand. At one time the market was flooded with them. you might need to chip away some of the concrete or plaster around the barrel of the stem. Be sure to get a replacement seat too.

What you need is a replacement stem for your faucet.

I would buy a shower socket kit for around $20 at the big box stores and and carefully remove that broken stem from the faucet body in the wall.

Then it's a matter of going to a an older supply house known for having old faucet part replacements and installing the new stem.

However, you need to see the condition of the washer on that stem; if it is chewed up...the seat facing might be pitted or chipped that is causing the seat washer to go bad.

Let us know and post pics of the condition of that seat washer.

I really can't afford a plumber right now and I don't know anyone else who can help me. I posted some pics of the problem below. As you can see, the knob for the cold water is missing because I turned it so hard to try to stop the water from dripping that it just broke off.

So, now I need to figure out how to fix the leak and figure out how to fix the knob that broke off. The knob broke with the metal part still in it, so I guess I need that whole new metal rod, right?

I would really appreciate it if someone could walk me through this!

Yea I agree with Sylvan...
But for yet one more reason.
A slow trickle is a great way to freeze a drain and thats not good!
A jetter is what usually opens a frozen drain and some cubic dollars to pay for the jetter.
