CNN has been playing nonstop coverage of Michael Jackson's death and some viewers even believe that the CNN cameramen have caught an image of a Neverland Ranch ghost on tape.

Newborn Abandoned In Shoebox With Air Holes

A newborn baby was found in a Long Island, New York apartment building in a shoebox. The shoebox had air holes punched in it, authorities say that the lid of the shoebox likely protected the baby.

The one day old girl was clothed, clean, and likely left there by the mother in hopes that she would be found. Thankfully the baby was found quickly by a man walking by and is now doing well.

When a daughter tried to surprise her mother with a new bed it didn't go over to well. When the daughter threw away her mother's mattress to give her a better one she didn't realize that there was a million dollars hidden inside! Last night Eminem performed live at the 2009 MTV Video Awards and the night was looking good, but after his performance Eminem had a strange encounter with a floating partially naked angel who landed on his face. Eminem stormed out afterwards and the question of the day is, was Eminem in on the prank? Or was the whole freaky nude angel thing a surprise. Man Calls 911 Over McDonald's Meal

A young man who felt he received the wrong McDonald's order called 911 so they could help him receive his brother's juice. He's not the only one who called 911 the McDonald's worker who served him also made a call. What a waste of emergency services.

When I read about this story today I actually wasn't surprised. I've noticed that customers are becoming increasingly demanding and patience is a thing of the past. I see someone throw a fit at a store at least once a week and it's usually because they expected something for a few pennies cheaper. Is it really worth it to freak out in public because someone made a mistake?

This weekend a few members of our family became sick. Although I figured it was probably just a run of the mill flu I began wondering if it could be the swine flu. I see swine flu (Influenza A H1N1) news coverage nearly everyday but what I don't even know what the symptoms are. I wasn't even sure what the difference between cold and flu were until I looked it up online last night.

If you visit the Aboutflu.net website you'll find a list of Swine flu symptoms and information on how it's spread and what you should do if you think you have it. After a bit of research it looks like our family has been hit with a cold but the symptoms of cold and flu are pretty similar. Check out the information online and when in doubt go see a doctor.

If you've been following the entertainment news over the past few weeks then you have likely read about Jon and Kate Gosselin's marriage problems. Jon and Kate are the celebrity parents who star in the popular TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8.

The Gosselins became famous after Kate gave birth to sextuplets. Jon and Kate, their set of twins, and their set of sextuplets have drawn plenty of interest over the years, but the last month most of it has been negative.

It all started when Jon Gosselin was seen partying single style at a local bar and photos of him flirting with college girls hit the web. Soon afterwards he was accused of cheating with a 23-year-old schoolteacher and once again pictures and video clips of his late night activities with the woman were posted online.

Next it was Kate Gosselin who was accused of cheating with her constant companion bodyguard Steve Neild. Both Jon and Kate have denied the affair rumors although Kate seems to believe that Jon could be cheating.

While Jon and Kate fans are wondering what will become of their marriage, family members have gone to the tabloids to let the world know the entire marriage is a sham. Kate's brother Kevin Krieder and his wife Jodi who has been featured babysitting on the show have revealed that the Gosselins are already living separate lives and have agreed on an open marriage.

If these latest rumors are true Jon and Kate hasn't lived as a married couple for six months and are only staying married for the sake of their reality show. Jon even lives in his own separate apartment above the garage in the couples sprawling mansion.

If you're wondering why Kevin and Jodi would sell their family out to the tabloids it's likely due to the way Kate Gosselin has treated the couple in the past. Since Kate has replaced loving Aunt Jodi with a hired babysitter they probably feel at this point that they have nothing to lose.

The season premiere of Jon & Kate Plus 8 begins on May 25, 2009 on TLC, signs of the couples marital tension can already be seen in the promotional clips.

Man Punches Blind Woman On Bus - Caught On Tape

This video is very disturbing. A man walks on to a bus and immediately starts punching an elderly blind woman who is sitting down. The attack came out of nowhere and many of the stunned passengers jumped to the woman's rescue. Three of the bus passengers were awarded for their part in apprehending the attacker and comforting the blind woman.

This random act of violence is scary to watch and makes me question the safety of just being out and about in daily life. Check out this unbelievable video clip of the attack that was caught on surveillance tape:

13-year-old Daniel Hauser's parents do want him to undergo chemotherapy treatment after he was diagnosed with a potentially fatal Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Kidnapped 4-Year-Old Girl Found

Yesterday 4-year-old Lesley Perez was kidnapped from her front lawn in Hidalgo, Texas while playing with her 12-year-old sister and friends around 9:00 p.m. A 23-year-old sexual predator grabbed her while she was playing, when her older sister tried to fight off the man and was hit in the head.

Thankfully Lesley Perez was located by police today at a rented farmhouse. Police arrested the kidnapper outside the home. Here's a Nancy Grace video clip with more information on this story:

New York Homeless Required To Pay Shelter Rent - Do You Agree?

At first I was shocked when I heard this news story featured on CNN.com. Some homeless shelters in New York are now asking homeless people who are working and living there to pay rent. Sounds pretty terrible right?

Then I thought about it for a while. The rent is around the same amount you'd pay for renting a room elsewhere. I started thinking that it might not be such a bad idea to charge a bit of rent, perhaps $100.00 a month for those who have jobs. After all the idea is to empower people to get on their own two feet and be able to survive in the world.

An even better idea would be for the homeless shelter to charge rent until the person/family is ready to move out and then give the funds back to them for first and last month's rent (kind of a forced savings plan).
