I bought a domain at godaddy.com and I subscribed to 123cow.com for the hosting service, when I´m in the cpanel at 123cow to install wordpress with fantastico I follow all the steps correctly, but when I´m trying to log in the administrator to edit content, instead appears my domain again in the godaddy web site saying that this domain is parked for free courtesy of godaddy.com, I don´t know what am I doing wrong? why can´t I go to the admin?

If you post an article and put an html link behind some Anchor Text, does that anchor text alone gain any juice or does it only count if someone clicks on it?

Have you noticed any trends or outcomes related to the timing of your blog posts?

I have noticed I’m more likely to get a link from certain sites if I post my articles around 11:00pm EST. But I’ve also noticed, if I post in the early A.M’s I get more direct traffic from RSS feeds. All I can equate this too is people coming into work and checking their RSS feeds.

For a long time it used to be that the only way to improve Alexa ratings (lower numbers) was to have the Alexa toolbar installed on your browesr.  That way Alexa kept track of sites that all of the toolbar enabled browsers visited.

Then Alexa came out with a widget that you could include on your website which apparently would keep track of all visitors to the site, toolbar enabled or not, and then use those numbers in their magical equation.

Lately I have understood that you might not need the toolbar or the widget as Alexa might have changed the method of gathering data, but I don’t know if that is true or not.

So I listen to twit.tv podcast a lot with Leo Laporte and friends from the old TechTV show and other movers and shakers in technology.  So the other day I was listening and John C. Dvorak made the statement that the Alexa toolbar does not work in Firefox.  Does anyone have any more information on this subject?
