iBearPolls is a massive social network of sorts, that lets you answer opinion polls as well as ask them yourself. You can ask anything about almost any subject and then let the masses answer your question.

iBearPolls is free which makes the application even more useful(the more people using it the better). You can setup a filter so that you only see certain subjects. . .and you can also setup your own username so that you can be identified when leaving comments.

Tap Tap Revenge 2 is the sequel to Tap Tap Revenge, lol. In this version they have updated the graphics and added a lot more songs. More songs, online play, and a 2 player mode makes this game ideal for any fan of rhythm style games.

If you liked the first game then you’ll love this one. While I liked the first one this one really shined for me because of the techno/electronic songs available. I think this is the perfect genre for this type of game. Being able to play with songs from DJs like Moby and Chemical Brothers is awesome in my eyes. I tried playing some of the other rock and alternative songs available for download(yes you can download additional tracks), but it just wasn’t as enjoyable for me as the techno songs were.

Since I’m a huge fan of that genre of music, that’s why I liked this game so much, if it only had songs that I didn’t like, then I wouldn’t have enjoyed the game as much. So if I were you, I would download this free game, and find out if there are any songs or genres that you like.

I tried playing the online component of this game but it never took me anywhere(the screen stayed blank), but I hear 2 player mode is great(just haven’t had a chance to play it yet).

BlackJack Teacher is a lot like BlackJack Bet Chart except this application has an additional feature. . .a practice quiz to challenge your current knowledge of the game.

So just like in the other application you see we have a chart, and a settings page to set it up for Las Vegas or Atlantic City rules.

In the Practice mode it will give you an example hand and you have to pick the best move(statistically). It will tell you if you’re right or wrong, and then keep your running total and ratio on the left side.

BlackJack Bet Chart is just that, a betting chart for BlackJack. You can easily reference this chart during your BlackJack game and always be one ahead of the dealer/casino(at least statistically).

Go to the row that matches your hand, then go to the column that matches what the dealer is showing. Then reference the color coded letter/box from that spot to the top row. Now you can always know what to do during your next game of BlackJack.

That’s all this is, just a chart. I think it would be better if it’s actually interactive, but doing it in this chart lets you reference it very quickly(and not waist any time).

After using this application for a moment I ended up getting this error. I fixed it by closing the application and then opening it again(very easy!).

Falling Balls is a simple free game where the goal is to avoid the falling balls. You control the stickman and you move him by tilting the device to the left or right. How long can you go before you get squashed?

It is a very simple game, but it does keep up with the highest score so you don’t have to force yourself to remember your own high score. . .it does it for you.

Tee Times makes it super easy to find an available tee time for local golf courses. All you have to do is pick an area that you’re interested in and then it will list all of the courses and the times that you can schedule your next game.

I’m surprised that this application doesn’t use the location feature to find out where you are, but it does come with a list of every supported golf course. Instead of having to go through a list to your state and then local city, the application should make it so that you only have to pick the course you want. Then make a deposit and that time slot is yours.

It is nice that you get a discount from the various courses but the downfall is that not every course is listed(only ones that are partnered with BallBound.com). But if you’re favorite course is listed then this application is perfect for you.

That’s right, we have an iPhone application too! With this mobile application you can check on the latest content available on AppStoreApps.com. Everything is divided up so that you can look at only the content you want, whether it’s reviews, apps on sale, or the top free and paid apps.

It’s a very simple application, so don’t expect too much. It only uses the RSS feeds to spread out all of the latest content. If you want to see both paid and free app reviews, there is a page for that. If you just want to see free app reviews there’s a paid for that(and a page for paid app reviews). It also has a page for apps on sale and even a ‘top’ page, that is split for the best free and paid apps.

When you touch on a name it will just close the application and open MobileSafari. Taking you to the AppStoreApps.com page with the content you want. If you touch an app in the ‘top’ page, it will take you directly to the page in the official App Store application.

The developer that has been doing all the work for this application is currently working on an internal browser, so it will parse the actual text and screenshots instead of forcing you to open up MobileSafari.

iBlur is a picture manipulation software that makes strong use of your device’s accelerometer in order to blur pictures. The application starts out by giving you a choice to take a new picture or use one that is already on the device. Following that, you shake your device for a couple of seconds, in order to help the application establish.

Once you have a picture selected, you have a couple of seconds during which you can shake your device; the more you shake, the blurrier the picture will become. The intensity and direction of the shake also affect the way the picture is blurred, resulting in unique results most of the time.

The device then proceeds with rendering your picture and once that step is completed, you can save the picture to your photo roll.

If you are in the business of blurring pictures and need to do so on the go, iBlur is the application you have been waiting for, for everyone else, this application only provides entertainment for a while.

Amber Tiles is a puzzle game where the goal is to move the red square to the bottom. You can see the red, dotted-line at the bottom and in the red square. It is said that you can solve this puzzle with less than 100 moves, but is incredibly hard to do.

I have played block puzzles similar to this before and found them to be a lot of fun. This game just made me frustrated, lol. I tried for 20 minutes to solve this puzzle and found myself in the same 2-3 positions every time. The games that I have played are setup in levels(where I can go through a lot of them). . .but this is only 1 level and I have no idea how to complete it.

This is one of those puzzles that you would like if you’re into other incredibly challenging puzzles. . .they just get me irritated(unless I make some sort of progress).

mTip is a tip calculator with a nice handful of settings that enables you to customize it to your personal preference. Decide whether or not you you want to give a small tip, medium, or a large tip. . .how many people the bill should be split between. . .as well as if you should calculate the tip before or after the tax.

Customizing this application is what makes it shine. You don’t have to be forced with specific levels of tips(with the stars), go into the settings and set it up to your liking.

Compared to most of the other tip calculators, I think mTip really has the customizable settings that makes it better than the rest.

MazeFinger is a exactly that, a finger maze. The goal is to get from the start to the finish(of each level), before the energy(on the left/right side) runs out. During the maze you’re challenged with different obstacles(like skulls and red blocks). Touch a red block and you have to lift your finger up(then back down) and continue through the maze(which wastes your time/energy).

This game comes with 200 levels with 1000 different mazes. After every level(5 mazes) you’re given a score based on the time it took you to complete and how many obstacles you run into.

MazeFinger also comes with achievements to to complete, which gives you a goal to aim for(for the hardcore players) during gameplay.

True or False Trivia Quiz is just that. . .a true or false quiz game. You are presented with facts(or lies) and your goal is to figure out if the statement is true or false. It records your ratio and also has an online leaderboard to let you compare your results with others across the internet.

There’s not much else to the game. I do like that they included an online high scores page, but other than that this is a very simple game. It’s the facts that you learn that really makes this game interesting. Like learning what Benjamin Franklin wanted the national bird to be(which was a turkey).

EveryTrail is an application that uses the iPhone 3G’s GPS to track everywhere you go. This is ideal for walks, runs, and even geotagging photos(from directly within the application). It even uses a map to visually show you the ‘trail’ or ‘route’ that you went on.

The one downfall of this application is that it has to stay open for it to work. This tends to run the battery down more than normal(especially when you’re constantly using GPS). Thankfully they added a lock button that makes it look like your device is locked. This doesn’t turn off the screen or anything, but it does make it so that you have to ‘unlock’ it to turn off. They do this so you can put the device in your pocket and not mess with what is going on(like accidentally hitting the stop button).

I don’t have an iPhone 3G just yet, so I couldn’t get a great image of the map, but it does record your route and show the ‘trail’ that you went on the map.

Close Call lets you create a custom wallpaper with a phone number and a short message in case of an emergency. That way if something bad happens, they can take out your iPhone and find your emergency contact information just by checking the ‘lock screen’.

I like the idea of this application, but I just don’t know how many people will go through your iPhone if you get in an accident. Thankfully if they do, they don’t have to go through and look for the information. . .it will be the first thing they see.

The application did freeze when I first attempted to take a picture and use it. . .but after a quick restart this was resolved.

AirYell is a local business finder that finds your location and then lets you search for things like pizza, gas, bars, etc. Just let it find you and then do a search(like you would in the yellow pages).

When you find what you’re looking for you can do a couple things. Touch the # and you’ll immediately call the business. . .touch the + and it will add the business to your contacts. . .or touch the map icon and look at the business on the map(so that you can get easy directions).

iChoose is a free decision maker that gives you multiple ways to come up with an answer. Whether you need to toss a coin, answer yes or no, roll a some dice, or pick a card at random. . .iChoose will be able to do that for you.

I have seen other applications that only let you roll virtual dice, and they cost money. The only thing I see missing is a magic 8-ball. . .but since it’s free you can’t really complain.

Brightkite is essentially like Twitter, but with a major emphasis on localization. With Brightkite you can send messages(as well as photos) from your iPhone and see local messages(and pictures) from other iPhone/Brightkite users.

This is a great social networking application that brings the concept of Twitter, and expands it with things like photos and maps. The only thing that this application is lacking is the wide-spread adoption that Twitter has.

I remember the Whrrl application was sort of like this(even though I think Brightkite has the UI perfect). The thing that will make one of these applications ‘take off’ is the ability to gain a massive user-base. . or at least all of your local friends(depending on if you want to meet new people or stay in touch with current friends).

Nimbuzz brings all of your favorite messenger services into 1 place. Not only can you connect to the major services(skype, aim, msn, yim, gtalk and much more) and send IMs back and forth, but you can also take advantage of their free calling features.

I wasn’t able to test the voice quality, but the messaging parts work very well. I imagine the voice quality isn’t any worse than if you were really using the service(which is marginal at best). But it is nice to be able to connect to all those services at once.

VoiceBox Dialer is a free voice dialer that gives you a hands-free voice dialer that you don’t get with the stock Phone application. They say it comes with free 411. . .but Google 411 is free anyways(great marketing though).

This is supposed to make dialing easy and hands free. I say ’supposed to’ because for some reason I was unable to get it to work correctly. As you can see with the screenshot above, I get told to turn off WiFi and then when I turn off WiFi, it gives ‘network is slow’ errors. I imagine that’s because I use a prepaid sim card without a data plan. . .but I would think it would work with WiFi.

iDream Lite is the free version of iDream. In this version you get 3 sounds(where you get 25 sounds in the full version). So now you can test out the application and see if you like it enough to get the full version.

I am a fan of developers releasing lite versions of their applications. It’s nice to be able to test a piece of an application before you buy the full version. This one comes with 3 sounds, but if you want more you can get 25 in the full version.
